Janelle Herrera La Bocca is truly a gem. The food is authentic Italian in the real sense — the kind that doesn’t just taste good, it feels like Italy. It’s the kind of place that keeps me coming back because the flavors are honest, comforting, and clearly made with love and pride.
I first came in on New Year’s Eve, one of the busiest nights of the entire year. The restaurant was packed and buzzing, and even with how incredibly busy it was, I was still very satisfied with my experience — which says a lot. You can’t judge a restaurant based on one visit, especially not on one of the craziest nights of the year, but La Bocca handled it with grace, warmth, and care.
The experience is elevated even more by the people. Giselle, the bartender, is an absolute star — so friendly and welcoming, an amazing mixologist, and always has the best recommendations. She truly makes you feel taken care of.
The owners, Alessandro and Anna, are incredibly warm, inviting, and hands-on. You don’t just feel like a customer here — you feel like a guest in their home.
The whole vibe feels like a little piece of Sicily, away from Sicily. Cozy, charming, and full of heart. La Bocca isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience, and one I’ll happily return to again and again.
