Applebees Grill + Bar - (Near Cortland, NY)

Lake Nipissing Heard the ads for the Fire Spot on Classic R&B 1400 AM many times... had to find out what this was about. Dont have restaurants serving chicken and waffles in NE Ontario (Canada). In the past this was a treat when in Long Beach, CA at Roscoes. Now there is a local WNY option with excellent chicken, and INCREDIBLE waffles. Keep it great... I plan to return !

Cindy Madar La Bola on Main is located at the Mercentile on Main at Rochester NY. My husband and I went over to LA Bola for lunch. Lunch is ordered at the counter and server will bring food items out to the inside court where there is plenty of seating. I ordered the smokey tomatoe soup and grilled cheese. Both were excellent choices. The smokey tomatoe soup was delicious with a hint of smokey flavoring. The grilled cheese sandwich was the best one ever! What may have been home made bread was buttery good and grilled to perfection. The cheese was stretchy gooey and it was so good I could have ate a second. Service was friendly efficient and not a long wait. Thank you La Bola for a scrumptious lunch. Comfort food at its best!

Elizabeth Fitzgerald This is a great spot for craft cocktails! We came here before dinner elsewhere, and the service was quick and kind. I had the Fig in a Blanket, which was unique and delicious, along with an espresso martini and a raspberry martini. Everything was fabulous! While we didn’t eat here, the food smelled divine. It does get busy, but we arrived near opening and had no trouble getting a seat at the bar. Looking forward to returning next time we’re in town!

Kelly Cook Heard lots of good recommendations so I went here for my birthday. The space is pretty, cozy, and very welcoming. The staff was so friendly and helpful, offering demonstrations and advice for someone who has never tried Georgian food before. Everything we had was amazing: the taste of Georgia, the dumplings, cheese boat, wine flight, and the honey cake. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you so much!

Chelsea My husband surprised me with reservations for this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I was blown away by all elements of our experience. Such a kind and attentive waiter. Everything we ordered was so flavorful and well balanced. We were hooked trying their side of meatballs as our appetizer. So moist and perfect. They had top notch cocktails, with great base alcohols. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. The noise level was just right for intimate conversations. Plus they boxed everything for us. Be sure to make a reservation, as it’s worth the hype and space is limited.
