1 /5 Bridget Marsh: If you are thinking of eating at Astor on Main, think twice. This restaurant literally served spoiled and moldy food....with a hefty price tag, too. The hollandaise sauce in my order was spoiled, both my husband and son had cheese omelets, FULL OF MOLD (see pictures of the moldy food and our hefty bill!!! ) and despite sitting there for over an hour, the on duty Manager, who saw and heard what was going on, NEVER ONCE even stopped at our table to acknowledge us or any of the problems. The kitchen took FOREVER to make the food, which would be fine if it was edible...but it was not even close to being fit for a dog. To be 100% clear, the 2 photos of the moldy cheese that I pictured are not the only spots of mold, ALL of the cheese and both omelettes were FULL OF MOLD. Truly a disgrace! As a Hyatt Globalist, I am shocked that this type of restaurant would be allowed to operate under the Hyatt name.
The ONLY bright spot was Anna, our waitress, who was the absolute sweetest person ever and I can only hope that other patrons treat Anna well because she seems to be the ONLY person facing off with all of the angry customers who receive horrible food from the kitchen.
