Batavias Original Pizzeria - (Near Batavia, NY)

JA The atmosphere is pure English pub right down to the low ceilings. Winston scowling down from above the fireplace. I had delicious fish and chips with malt vinegar. The waitress was possibly the most attentive Ive ever had . Not overly intrusive but obviously observant of her tables and ready to fulfill any requests in a timely fashion and with a genuine and friendly smile. I ordered a sausage roll for later (pictured) the flaky pastry was sublime and the sausage just the right flavors that I remembered from my childhood cookery classes in my secondary modern 3rd year. A wonderful experience. Will definitely be back again. Maybe try the Kedgeree next

Barre Flynn We were headed for a diner, and I told my friend that I wanted a Skirt Steak served on Garlic Bread. Several months ago, I saw a TikTok about Bairada and told my friend to go there. (I live in Brooklyn) He went and went back several times. He said, Lets skip the diner and go to Bairada. Parking is simple. The place is beautiful and simple. The tables are set with white linen. The plates have the restaurant name on them. Very elegant. The atmosphere is mildly noisy. During the day there is plenty of natural light. So Inviting. I am handicapped so I need chairs that slide easily. They did. They had all sorts of steak, Chicken and Fish. We had the lunch menu. Prices were very reasonable. Now the food: I had the skirt steak. It was done to perfection and tasted amazing. They offered the home-brewed hot sauce. It lifted the flavors to a new level. The vegetables were so tasty being sauteed in butter and garlic. The potatoes and rice were also very tasty. Before the main course arrived, they brought out a salad that was perfectly dressed. My friend had fish with a shrimp sauce. He really enjoyed his plate as well. The meal was hard to believe good. Dessert was on the same level. All the portions were large. The wait staff was so friendly and helpful. We felt completely relaxed from the time we arrived to the time we left. Our Waiter did a great job helping us navigate the menu. They were very attentive to our needs. Five Stars to the professional Wait Staff Also, the bathrooms were very clean and handicap accessible. This was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. There are other places that are right up there, but this place is hard to beat on so many levels. Thanks for such a great time. Update: Went there 12.6.2025. This is the third visit. The food was amazing as usual. There is virtually no turnover in staff. I love how they take care of you. The simple format of Salad and Bread, and sides are automatic, making dining there so easy. This place rocks. It is one of my top spots to get a good skirt steak.

Madelyn Posey We are here after a day hike at Chimney Bluffs State Park. Nice view of the water! The back deck was closed for the season but inside view was still nice. Chicken French was delicious. Kids meals were a great size. Staff was nice and friendly. A great lunch spot even not in high season! Parking lot across the street.

Francis Cavalier Went here for Valentines day . Was a little worried because it was a 8:30 reservation. But boy did they impress us and made the night amazing. The Bartender was super apologetic for the wait and even made us extra drinks to make up for it . We were seating quickly and the server was just amazing. All the specials were available on a super busy night and was just out of this world . Every dish was better than the previous one . Make this place a must visit for your next special dinner . Highly recommend

Nicole Alexandra I loved this place. The ambience is awesome and food is very good. Portions are big and the fries were so good! We had a burger (very regular, it was good), the Korean short rib was very good, meat was very soft and tasty and it does comes with a bunch of things (rice, some kind of bread), pollo a la brasa was very very spicy, it was good but we weren’t expecting it to be so spicy, and the Korean cheesesteak was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, no cap.
