China Taste - Carmel Hamlet

Rating: 4.2 /5
Anaka Wow! My favorite chinese place in the area. Great on all accounts and very nice family/owners. My only recommendation is the crab rangoons. They used to be less dough and more filling, but now they have very little filling and too crispy. Would be great if they could have more filling!

Redefine Meals - Riverhead

Rating: 4.9 /5
M T My go-to is the southwest quesadilla. So far all the meals I’ve gotten were delicious! I love how they’re all well balanced nutritionally and give you all the ingredients and nutrition information. I definitely recommend this place !

Finn’s - Troy

Rating: 4.7 /5
Matt Wade Finn’s is a hidden gem in Troy. The pasta is outstanding, but here’s the surprise: you need to come for the burger. It’s hands-down the best in the area—a perfectly done smash burger with Big Mac-style sauce and crispy, addictive fries, worth every penny. The bar is equally impressive: a true cocktail bar serving some of the best Old Fashioneds, margaritas, and creative recipes around, plus Aperol spritzes, solid wines, and a great local beer selection. The service is phenomenal. Finn’s nails it on food, drinks, and vibe.

Tunnicliff Inn - Cooperstown

Rating: 4.1 /5
Kristi Smith My family has been staying here since the 80’s. My brother and I used to take match box cars and race them down the slanted floors. It’s from the 1800’s of course there’s no elevator. It’s charming and quiet. The service was amazing and it was very clean and safe. Every year the day after thanksgiving we have stayed the weekend. Since Covid things have changed a bit sadly but they are trying to keep up with the hotel. The pit is amazing. Baseballs greatest dined there and signed their names on the tables. Along with my family. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you are into history and a comfortable stay then come here. I do miss the breakfasts. Again Covid changed a lot. I see people complaining about the hotels footings being unlocked during the night. It’s a small town. You have locks on your rooms doors for a reason. Parking isn’t as bad as others stated. Behind the in is great and the street. Yes the place is dated but it’s the Cooperstown feel of the old times. Simpler times. It’s a hidden gem. Sure it could use better upkeep but we will always come back year after year. Winter months are great in this town. Day after thanksgiving is the best Christmas parade.
