Debra Gorman I can’t give enough positive feedback about La Palina. If I could give 10 stars I would. While visiting my daughter I wanted some authentic Italian food and found this place one mile from her home. The minute you walk in it was like being with family. The staff (possible owners?) are so attentive, funny and kind. The food is better than my mom’s and my naunie’s (sorry mom) which I didn’t think was possible. The prices are fantastically fair for the quality and portions given. We started with the calamari which was fresh, delicious & perfect. We ordered 2 meatballs (I wanted to try everything), chicken parm and linguine Alfredo. All were THE BEST I have EVER had. No one makes meatballs like my mom used to and they were better! The chicken was tender and delicious. The red sauce, drinkable. The Alfredo sauce to die for. The BEST. The Italian bread and garlic bread… fabulous! We made a reservation. The place was packed. Vibe was old school, Italian music, buzzing with laughter and chatter. We will be back every time I visit my daughter.

Carmine Schieferstein This place is a long Island treasure. Tucked away in Polish town in Riverhead New York. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for all occasions. The sampler dish I ordered had perogies and smokey pork chop and an assortment of other delights perfectly cooked and in ample portion size to have me taking food home to enjoy later. The bar was friendly and relaxed. The staff is friendly and attentive. This place deserves to be reviewed by serious critics with my higher qualifications than myself.

Abby Asude was our server and he provided top notch hospitality! The food is freshly made, large portion and the atmosphere is perfect for date night. Fast service and the Turkish tea is refreshing. Highly reccomend!

Dakota The Evergreen is much more than just a pub. The food here is extremely elevated and one can tell how much care and thought goes into the preparation and execution of the dishes. The Evergreen has been a culinary haven in Hanover Square since moving downtown. Their Brunch has got to be one of the best in all of Downtown Syracuse. The Chorizo Sausage Gravy and the Corned Beef Hash are divine dishes packed full of contrasting flavors to start your day. Meaty, salty, spicy, and delicious. Their dinner menu is top notch as well. I have enjoyed the daily hummus plate, cracklings, the beer braised short rib grilled cheese, and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It amazes me that their tiny kitchen packs such a punch. It is extremely refreshing to find a place where the food is top notch and the atmosphere is extremely inviting. Plus their live music acts on Sunday are super talented! Thank you Evergreen!

Emily J. First time coming here and staff was friendly and attentive. It was earlier than the normal dinner crowd so not as loud as Im sure it can get. Food was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated. Higher quality ingredients were used and from what Ive heard the menu rotates seasonally. The garlic parm fries were so fresh & flavorful. The wings were crispy, a bit on the heavy side oil-wise, but also flavorful. Sauces all tasted homemade. Will definitely come back again.

Thiago Prado Small wings mix is the best. I got the spicy version which I found to be just a tad bit passed my limit but was still very pleased. I got the bulgogi fried rice mix which I found to be very good but next time I would like to do the kimchi version The bad buns were very big and pretty good
