225 Warren Bar and Grill - Hudson

Rating: 4.6 /5
Oma C. Had a really good experience at 225 Warren Bar and Grill. The food was SO good. Everything was cooked with intention and it really showed. Partner got the swordfish special and it was tender and buttery, which I find hard to do with such a lean fish. The sauce really helped cut some of the richness. The calamari wasnt over breaded but still crisp. The calamari and the chicken cutlet for my chicken parm were fried to order and came out piping hot. The aesthetic of the the place was clean, monochromatic, and modern, which lent a cool, high-end vibe. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. We went around 5pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. I would highly recommend.

Gabriel Fontoura Such a nice place just a couple of minutes from the highway. Really nice food, affordable prices. Even when converting to CAD, its still a good price. We will come back. It was a bit crowded, but the waitress managed everyone as best as possible.

LOLA - Kingston

Rating: 4.3 /5
Katherine Marti TLDR: yummy food, winter dog friendly dining option! Finding places to eat with your dog in the winter / on ski trips is tough, but LOLA made it easy! They have a great covered/mildly heated outdoor patio allowing us to bring our pup while traveling to nearby ski mountains. So many places only have a summer patio, so we really appreciated this option. All the food and cocktails we had - pastas, pizzas, desserts - were delicious and served quickly. Would definitely return!

Savonas Trattoria & Bar - Hudson - Hudson

Christina GĂłmez This restaurant was a delight. Full of locals, the vibe was cozy and welcoming. The staff were kind and helpful - I am vegan, and while there is nothing listed on the menu, our waitress and the kitchen staff took care to offer a vegan dish, comprised of gluten free pasta (all other pastas contain egg), veggies, garlic, and olive oil. Simple but absolutely delicious. In fact, I knew it was going to be good based solely on the complimentary breadsticks, and the order of bruschetta that we enjoyed. Yes, its carb-heavy. But everything was so good, fresh, and clearly scratch-made. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi, which he noted was also delicious and authentic. The negronis we drank were perfect as well.

Tihama Restaurant Bronx - Bronx

Casmira Wildeman Wow really good food! Definitely a basic restaurant in terms of tables and chairs and decor, but the food is so delicious and the service is great. The fresh soft bread is huge and so yummy and only like $3. We got the Mandy Lamb with rice which was excellent, and the hummus. The tea is black and sweet and the music was beautiful! Definitely will return. Definitely recommend. Decent prices too. Oh and the soup and salad were both delish! Like a curry chicken broth and tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and a good sauce.

Kittys - Hudson

Rating: 4.4 /5
Ray Bolden Kitty’s is a charming little spot conveniently located right next to the Amtrak station in Hudson, which makes it a great stop whether youre coming into town or heading out. The location alone is a major plus. The shop offers a wide variety of items, ranging from pantry goods to drinks and baked treats. However, when it comes to fresh food options—especially in the morning—the menu is a bit limited. In fact, the only breakfast meal on offer is an egg and cheese sandwich. That said, it’s a solid one—well-made, satisfying, and flavorful. It also comes with the option of a hash brown on the side, which I definitely recommend. Crispy, well-seasoned, and just the right portion. I do believe that they are priced on the bit of the higher end. They also had a selection of baked goods on display. While I didn’t get the chance to try them, they looked fresh and genuinely tempting. As tasty as they look, I wasn’t willing to pay what I thought was an excessive price for baked goods that weren’t even coming from the bakery. Overall, Kitty’s is worth a visit, especially if youre looking for a quick, tasty bite before hopping on a train or exploring Hudson. Just don’t expect a full brunch menu—come for the quality, not the quantity.
