Tiffany Ari Found this spot on TikTok and Google while searching for good soul food in NYC, and it did not disappoint. My friend and I came for dinner and were greeted right away—staff was attentive, warm, and welcoming. Our waitress Jenn was amazing, walked us through the menu, gave great recommendations, and went above and beyond. The restaurant feels cozy and homey, like your aunt or grandma’s house. We ordered rum punch, soul fries with catfish, smothered turkey wings, collard greens, a crispy chicken sandwich, and banana pudding—everything was 10/10. The complimentary cornbread sampler was a great touch. Loved the intimate, uncrowded vibe and even getting to write on the walls. This is officially our new dinner spot—definitely coming back next time we’re in the city.

Sacha Lewis Kasey the bartender is awesome. Makes me a perfect drink every time. Quiet and classy spot. Food is amazing. The burger and the alla vodka is to die for. Flavorful and perfect portions. Presentation of food is carefully crafted. If you want a nice place to wat where you can dress up a bit this quaint spot is for you.

Cristo G I have to say that this place has undergone several changes since it opened theres always the possibility of finding some variation in the food every time you go back. But what surprised me most was the quality of the drinks and the dedication and professionalism with which they are prepared as well as the attention to detail that makes them so delicious. Im surprised by the quality of the drinks here in the Bronx. And Im also surprised by the drastic change from a Japanese restaurant to a Mexican one. Marco provided excellent service, and the drinks were more than perfect.

Cathy Nelson My brother recommended Trailside as a place to eat so we tried it today on our way out of camp (coming from south of Mountain View). It did NOT disappoint! Our server was friendly and efficient, the dining room has interesting atmosphere, the Maple Porter and the margarita were perfect, and lunch was great. We enjoyed poutine on hand-cut fries, and the haddock dinner. Perfect French fries will always bring me back!

Will Baqain This was a wonderful experience not only for the food but also for the service and the environment. The atmosphere feels super upscale and cozy at the same time, my girlfriend and I loved the chairs. All of the food was very delicious. It was super clean, fresh and everything tasted phenomenal. The service was also great! Timothy invited me and my girlfriend to come and try the restaurant and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The man that served us was also very fun and attentive! This place is not gonna break the bank, has a great vibe and great food, and is a great excuse to dress up highly recommend this place.

Erik R Hidden gem on Seneca Lake! Tiki Bar North is the perfect spot to unwind—chill vibes, stunning lake views, and an atmosphere that just puts you in a great mood. We had the burger and pulled pork sandwich with macaroni salad, and every bite was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. What made the visit even better was the staff—genuinely kind, personable, and full of great local tips. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy good food by the water.
