Kura Revolving Sushi Bar - Carle Place

Rating: 4.3 /5
Ms MJ Kura @ Carle Place, please, please, do a better job cleaning your bowls, plastic utensils and the glass mug you use for green tea. Its our 3rd time at this location, and the hygiene is getting worse and worse. The mugs smells like it havent been washed and has an odor and as you can see from our pictures, the server said our spoon was water stained?! Why. We used to frequent Kura so often when they first opened but now, its like once every few months and SAME sanitary issue. Do better, Kura. People can get sick and we are simply so grossed out. And when we go out to eat, we truly want to go enjoy our food. We wont be returning again. Shame on us.

Symphony Moore A friend of mine invited me here for an early lunch. She’s been here a number of times and let me know the food was really good. She DID NOT LIE. We came in and were greeted warmly. We had a lot to talk about and kept getting distracted forgetting to actually look at the menu to order and the woman helping us was so patient and kind she gave us all the time we needed and answered all of our questions. We ordered the plantain spring rolls and salmon bites as appetizers, one rum punch and one fruit punch for drinks, my friend got oxtails with pasta and added sweet chili shrimp I got oxtails with rice plantains and cabbage. Not only were the dishes just beautiful. They tasted bomb. Flavors were so on point!! I traveled from Jersey and I can’t wait to visit again! Really the sweetest environment and people with delicious food. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Blessings to you guys. You can’t find this everywhere.

Fossetta - New York

LeGrod Came in on a busy Saturday night but they were able to give us bar seating which wasn’t a problem, they have a very nice kitchen layout which you can clearly look into while you enjoy your food. We got an olive oil and sea salt focaccia which was possibly the highlight of the meal, very tasty and not too overpowering. The picture is of our entrees which was their lasagna and a pork milanese. Lasagna was great, but the milanese was a little on the saltier side, although still very good. This is a nice spot for a dinner and pretty well located to several nearby bars for after your meal, if that’s your thing. Could see myself coming back in the future

Pedro De Carvalho ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing experience at this Brazilian restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a lively vibe that makes you feel like you’re in Brazil. The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned meats, fresh sides, and incredible flavors in every bite. The pão de queijo (cheese bread) was a standout starter, and the feijoada was rich and authentic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the menu, which made the whole trip experience even better. Portions were generous and the caipirinhas were spot-on. Highly recommend this place whether you’re craving authentic Brazilian cuisine or just looking for a fun night out. I can’t wait to come back!

Tony Santiago My mother had passed away so we had an after burial luncheon here. I found this out because upon searching for a place they had a menu specifically for this. The staff and manager were above and beyond. The food choices were excellent. In a sad situation, everyone in my party enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Its also very close to St. Raymonds Cemetery so we didnt have to travel far to get here.

The Suave Sultan A super cute cafe in a converted coal office building. They really lean into that heritage and have a lot of cool decorations and furniture that hail back to that era. The coffee and food are both very delicious and the staff are very friendly!
