5 /5 Cassandra Green: Crisol is so good it honestly deserves more hype! The Rasta Pasta is unreal… super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. It’s one of those dishes you start thinking about again the next day. And the chicken cutlet? Wow. Crispy, juicy, seasoned just right — literally comfort food done right. The portions are great, the vibe is chill, and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

Ribs were delicious, Mac and cheese was creamy, and super cheesy, and the plantains were a refreshing sweet touch to a very savory meal. The owner was very welcoming, friendly, and walked me through the menu. Cozy little spot, very clean and well maintained. A must-stop if you’re visiting Cortland and want a delicious meal.

5 /5 Nicholas DeLessio: We recently ordered takeout from Crisol: Pernil, rice and beans, mac and cheese, and beef empanadas. Everything we had was top notch excellent, and well be going back to try their other dishes. For what you got, the prices were also very reasonable, and the food was made up within about 5 minutes of when they said it would be ready. Overall, a great experience. My only real complaint (not even worth docking a star for) is that the prices on their online PDF menu were outdated at the time we ordered. The beef items in particular had gone up noticeably in price. This was reflected on the in-restaurant menu boards, but not their website. Of course, prices have been all over the place on the supplier side recently and this is an easy thing to miss, and I dont know if maybe I just got unlucky and it was changed shortly after... but they should try to keep up with this. Also be mindful of their hours, theyre pretty limited, but thats worth working around for the quality of food you get here. Not a complaint, but something to keep in mind. You have to plan around getting this food.

5 /5 RJ Tolan: Absolutely terrific. Got the “family” portion of catfish and it was fantastic, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Beans and rice, sweet plantains, collard greens, all super. Regular sized oxtail, good portions, falling off the bone. Super friendly and quick service. A real winner.
