5 /5 Anthony Daria: My father took me here 50 years ago. They wrote the menu on a paper bag and hung it on the wall. They have a menu now for those who need it. Great southern Italian food at reasonable prices. They use san marzano tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil which are the highest quality ingredients. I highly recommend a visit.

4 /5 Anna Karnowski: A friend had recommended this place and so we tried it. It’s definitely a no-frills kind of environment so you definitely don’t go for the service. They are very fast and efficient but it feels more of an effort to flip the table. We sat downstairs, but there’s also a large area upstairs that had seating and was a lot quieter. The dishes are HUGE and 2-3 people could split a main dish with the portion sizes. The chicken Parmesan hit the spot and I’d come back for that alone. We also tried the stuffed artichoke, but it wasn’t great.

5 /5 Josephine Wilson: The food here is amazing. I had the chicken scarpariello and I am still thinking about it. Sweet and attentive Italian waitstaff with owner at the door to greet folks. Feels like a truly neighborhood destination. Seating is crowded, but adds to the feel. People loving food together. We got seats without a wait at 6pm, but were the last table. Highly recommend!

5 /5 sweeta babeeta: “I have eaten as much as I can, not as much as I want to, but as much as I can.” Per a son on the verge of summer break at Dominick’s Italian on Arthur Street, Bronx. The mussels starter with tomatoes sauce was outstanding. Omg. I usually only eat mussels with butter and garlic but I am converted! Ossobuco, Roast Pork and Cabbage, and Lamb Chops were truly excellent. The steak was declared very good (and fully consumed). The potatoes with the steak were fine but not life changing. This might be because the dishes were on the upper range of perfectly salty. By contrast the potatoes were not salted. One sits family style, sharing tables for 8 (or 12) with other patrons. On a gentler day we might have made some new friends, but we came hungry and impatient today. We love this style of eating, and have been here before. Highly recommended!
