Double Down Bar & Grill - (Near Candor, NY)

4 /5 George Peters: Very friendly local bar and grill. Depending on the night’s planned activities the crowd can change wildly. Food is pretty good basic bar food fare. The beer tap is not extensive but they have more than the bud, bud light, coors, coors light list that many rural bars have. Over all good small town hang for some food and drinks. I go back for the people.

5 /5 Jenise Tirado: The supreme pizza and sliced smoked brisket sandwich are to die for. I highly recommend visiting this place is you are in the area. They also have special nights like Biker Night, bands and much more. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Services quick as well. 10/10 restaurant for sure!

5 /5 Abra Rice: Food was so good. I ordered the Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms. My husband ordered the rodeo burger and fries. Thats a regular for him. The only reason for the atmosphere is there was no background music but the kitchen music and I couldnt get the jukebox working. So, we were listening to everyones conversations. If they fix that it would have been 5 stars all around.

5 /5 Amy Cole: Glad to have a place to eat in Candor again! Had the mushroom burger and shared some egg rolls along with their fall drink special of caramel apple martini. Good food and good drink. Place is now under new management and they have renovated, including the restrooms. Would come back and also try their other food options.

4 /5 Jamie Ramirez: We ended up here on karaoke night so it was unexpectedly loud (and got louder when I got up to sing - sorry)! The food was really good- the salads especially were fresh and obviously not out of a bag which I appreciate. My husband’s burger was good and the fries would have been better if they were hotter- I think they sat for a bit. It was a little hectic though. I had a pasta special that was really tasty. Generous portions but not too big.
