carsons woodside tavern

Carsons Woodside Tavern - Malta

Rating: 4.5 /5
Tracey P. M. Carson’s Woodside Tavern is a beautiful spot with a wide variety of comfort foods. We went for lunch on a late August afternoon when the weather was perfect and sat outside with a gorgeous view of Saratoga Lake and the mountains. Service was friendly and efficient, and the menu offered plenty of pub favorites. While nothing in particular stood out food-wise, everything was tasty, reasonably priced, and the setting really made the experience memorable. The atmosphere is relaxed, with outdoor seating and even Adirondack chairs if you just want to sit back and enjoy the view. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I’d definitely return again.

Jesus Caballero The food itself is great. The service is hit or miss depending on date/time/crowdedness. They are a bit messy with serving plates don’t always practice the best and cleanest methods of serving but if you can get past the old school mentality the food is awesome. I recommend freshly made plates over Food under heat lights. The fritura is good but not the best they have to offer. Their Morcilla is probably the best in the northeast hands down. Authenticity at its best.

Fratellis Restaurant - Avon

Nancy Peak There were four of us and everyone loved their meal. I ordered the Cacciucco (seafood). Omg it was delicious! I didnt realize that the full portion was that huge. I hardly put a dent in it, since we had also ordered appetizers. I will know next time to order the half portion. Great leftovers for another meal!

Margarita’s Latin Soul Food - Waterloo

Tammy Lass Excellent customer service. Got to hear a quick story about how the restaurant is named after their mom. We had the Latin Style Pulled Pork dish with Mac and cheese and Spanish rice. It was so good and the price right. They also recognize those that have served with a Veteran discount. Will be coming here again next time were in town!

Roccos Family Restaurant - New City

Kelli Novotny Rocco’s in New City is one of those places that makes you feel right at home the second you walk in. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is so good. I’ve tried a bunch of things on the menu, but I keep coming back to the chicken Caesar salad. It’s hands-down the best around - perfectly grilled chicken, crisp romaine, just the right amount of dressing, and super fresh every time. Rocco’s never disappoints. It’s a local gem!

Indian Grill - Plattsburgh

Rating: 4.7 /5
Singh Indian Grill has quickly become my favorite spot for indulging in authentic Indian cuisine. The moment you step inside, the cozy and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. The menu offers a perfect blend of classic favorites and unique dishes, all bursting with flavor. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous, making it a fantastic value. What truly elevates Indian Grill is the exceptional service. Stanley, the ever-attentive manager, and his team go the extra mile to make sure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. Their commitment to quality is evident in everything they do, from showcasing the freshness of their ingredients to ensuring every dish is perfect. The Dal Makhani and goat is a must-try, and if you’re a fan of spicy, the Mirchi pakoras won’t disappoint. Every visit here leaves me eagerly anticipating the next. Highly recommended!
