Genesee River Restaurant & Reception Center - (Near Mt Morris, NY)

Ortiz M (Epicurean Explorer Rater) I came across Bistro Éloise while searching for a place nearby, and I’m really glad I did. It’s in a shopping area with plenty of parking, which made things easy. I loved the décor and the lively atmosphere. The host was friendly and welcoming, and we were seated right away. I was definitely glad I made reservations because the place was packed. Service was a little slow, possibly because they were short-staffed, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The escargot, French bread, and beef bourguignon were delicious and well worth it. I’d happily go back.

Mario Alex Gonzalez An absolutely incredible dining experience in every aspect. The food, atmosphere, and service all complimented each other beautifully and made for a stunning night. The meal is ordered all at once and coursed out, allowing to be continuously one upped by the last item and be continuously impressed by the dishes. The appetizer dishes blew me away and somehow the food maintained or surpassed the quality at every turn. Service was impeccable and very well informed on all the dishes, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. No weak points in this dinner at all. Highly highly recommend coming here if you are looking for an elegant and delicious meal that will blow you away, as long as you’re prepared to pay accordingly, but it will be worth it.

Jessica Marie Annual tasting fair in Newark, NY. Full event ticket ($20 @ event in 2025, $15 presale) gets you a little souvenir cup, tasting fork/spoon and 15 tasting tickets. Additional tickets cab be purchased for $1/each w/full ticket or $2/without full ticket. Every sample is one ticket. There were multiple vendors and a wide varitiy of food and drink options to sample. 1 cheesecake sample = 1 ticket, 1 chiken wing = 1 ticket, 1 bag of freeze dried candy = 1 ticket, ect. We enjoyed alost everything we tried, the prime rib from the salt box bbq was amazing! We purchased 2 full tickets (for my husband and I) and 30 additional tickets so we each had 15 (there was 4 of us). They verify age and provide a band if doing wine samples. There was a large area with tables to sit at or you could sit by canal. There was live misic as well. We all left full, and our youngest son used some of his to get samples of candy to go since he didnt want much. We enjoyed the taste of wayne county and would definitely return if we were in the area when it happens.

Benjamin Bessett I actually dont prefer Chinese food but eat it when my partner does. I always get the same thing that I know I like. I am MOSTLY vegetarian but I do eat chicken once in a while. So I always get veggie fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. I am usually always disappointed in the chicken but this sweet and sour chicken is SOOO good that I was inspired to write a review. Also, great service-our delivery person was sweet and kind and had a way about her that I really appreciated.

Katie Alvarado This was a spontaneous date night for my wife and I and we just loved it! We started with the French onion dip (with perfectly toasted crostinis) and the crispy banana pepper risotto cakes *both on the specials menu*. The entrees were ridiculously delicious (bourbon pork chop with sweet potato hash and fresh peach salsa and the halibut with roasted veggie risotto) o.m.g. We are members of the clean plate club. Will absolutely be back!!!
