Giando on the Water - (Near Brooklyn, NY)

5 /5 Annemarie Seger: Our daughter was married at Giando on 10/31/25. Joe and his staff were above wonderful. The food was a 10/10. If there were more stars that’s what I would give. The view was spectacular. We couldn’t have asked for a better day (10/30 we had a “mini” hurricane). Crisp, clear sunny day was all we could ask for. The NY skyline crystal clear both during ceremony and reception. Just the right back drop for a couple that are NY born and raised. Service, food, staff, Joe, Liz and everyone made the daily flow without a worry or care in the world. Thank you.

5 /5 Jessica Rovniak: We had a beautiful fall wedding at Giando on the Water! From the beginning, Joe and his staff were attentive and communicative in helping us plan our big day. Liz and her team did an incredible job prepping the space for us and our vendors ahead of our arrival. The view from their outdoor ceremony space is unmatched, and while the banquet hall is already a beautiful space with an incredible view, nothing could have prepared us for the look of it at nighttime, filled with our florals, candles, and loved ones. The food was delicious and never seemed to stop coming (in the best way), and all of the cocktails were excellent. The bartenders, waitstaff, and bridal attendants were all outstanding. Our guests have not stopped telling us about how much they loved the venue, the view, and the service of the staff. 5 /5 Kari Mavrovouniotis: Just got married at Giando at the beginning of November and are STILL on cloud 9 from what a perfect experience it was. Would give 10 stars if I could! From the second we started working together with Giando, we felt confident and secure. Joe made us feel right at home and at ease every step of the way. He, Liz, and their team were organized, thorough and meticulous about every detail of the day. He received our crazy questions with a smile and had an answer for everything. Fast forward to wedding day- the entire staff was incredibly attentive from the moment the family and bridal party got there. They stood by my side and were constantly at my aide. I can’t express my gratitude for the bridal attendants and maître’ds. I could completely shut my brain off all day and they had EVERYTHING under control. The photos speak for themselves in regards to the beauty and atmosphere of Giando. Truly, every aspect of our wedding was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to the amazing people at Giando. I wish we could press rewind!

5 /5 Katie & Thomas Villarino: I had the best wedding experience on June 7th, 2025 with Giando on the Water. The view is definitely the showstopper, providing truly amazing pictures. From the pre-meetings with Joe and Liz in person and on the phone, to the most attentive wait staff and bar servers, we couldn’t have asked for better. They are truly experts at what they do, always there providing the guidance, organization and the personal touches that exceeded the vision we had for the day. We used their recommended vendors after looking around a bit and it was beyond clear that they knew the layout and acoustics of the building to best optimize our expectations while working flawlessly with the Giando staff. Both my husband and I as well as our parents had appointed people watching out for us all night long. Despite the unpredictable weather, they had a contingency plan in place, and worked with us to make a game time decision as to where the ceremony was happening, inside or out. The food and drink from cocktail hour through dessert were plentiful and of the highest quality with amazingly quick service both at the tables and more importantly at the bar where there was never a long wait. With all of the difficult decisions to be made for getting that single perfect day, the hindsight of choosing this venue was the best one. We highly recommend having your wedding at Giando’s!
