4 /5 Tarkia McGrier-Hamilton: I wanted a Cuban sandwich but made with chicken and no ham. Kudos to the cook. I was told at first they couldn’t do it but to satisfy a customer it was made. The taste I was looking for exceeded my taste buds. Thank you!!!

1 /5 Emanuel Pascal: I recently take out at Giovannis restaurant in Monticello, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The overall cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired, with noticeable dirtiness throughout. Additionally, the lack of proper cleaning standards was concerning. The pizza I ordered had a poorly cooked dough, with only the exterior receiving any attention, and it certainly lacked freshness. Furthermore, the sandwiches my companions ordered were disappointingly identical despite being different selections. The most concerning aspect was the lack of proper hygiene practices among the staff, with only the cashier wearing gloves while others handled food without any protection. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. It was a one-time visit for me, and I have no intention of returning.

5 /5 C B: Great subs here. I have been getting food here since I was a little kid and they were in their original location next to Paul Paskows liquor store where burger king is now. Their staff is friendly and good at their trade. Prices are fair. Never have had a bad experiance here in 30 years. You have to try their Godfather with everything!!!

5 /5 Selene Inparadise: OMG. First time here, just passing through town. Got the meatball sub half - and it’s huge! And the taste, it’s exactly as I remember from my days growing up here. The texture of the hero was spot on!! Meatballs must have been cooking all day, delish!! If I’m still in town tomorrow, I’m coming back to try their eggplant parm!

What a horrible experience ... once again, this is the third time that we have ordered food this month and each time it was just awful .. we went back a second and third time thinking maybe they were just having a bad day maybe there was a new cook but this seems to be the norm now absolutely awful food !!! The Stromboli was completely raw, meatless and tasteless. The pizza tasted like Ragu Sauce and rotten cheese !!! Tonight will certainly be the last night we ever order from this place ever again !!!!!
