Glenwood Pines - (Near Ithaca, NY)

Crissibeth Cooper Its a casual place. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat because there were so many great options. Im vegetarian so I was excited to see that. My spinach pie was very tasty and they really loaded it with spinach generously. Same for the Greek salad--they gave you plenty of olives, tomatoes, etc. which I noticed and appreciated! Service was warm, prompt, and friendly. I will be back a lot.

Austin B There is something special about a local family owned business in a small town. Tally-Ho in Richfield Springs is able to turn back the clock with a welcoming family-like space offering friendly service and delicious food at fair prices. Having only heard good things about their food and especially their pies since moving into the area I finally got a chance to try it out. The waitress with a glowing smile played along and took my order - give me the two best breakfast dishes you have - and with a small assurance that I like everything and would eat anything, she went to work to put the order in. The French toast arrived with bacon and I had to ask what it was because I couldnt remember if I have ever been served six huge slices of what appeared to be perfectly dipped, browned, powder sugared, and fresh smelling happiness. I ate a few pieces and it hit the spot. The next plate I tried was full of a meat lovers omelette and toast. The meats were plentiful and had great flavors. The cheese, peppers, and mushrooms complimented the egg blanket it was all wrapped up in lovely. I ate until I was happy and debated on taking a slice of pie for the road, after all, it was breakfast time and Id never eat pie so early in the day ;) As I gently watched the snow fall outside the large and clean window, I switched back to breakfast mode and thought some diner hash browns would be wonderful to take home and eat later with the leftovers. I asked for them and was informed they didnt have any. At first I was wondering if I called them by the wrong name but she quickly suggested their sliced potatoes. I cant recall the name but I thought she explained it as basically a baked potato sliced up with some seasoning. I waited until later in the day to try them and can confirm they too were wonderful and went great with the leftovers. Everything about this stop lived up to expectations and I loved that people walked in and were greeted by name and the sense of community was there. I hope to visit again but its going to be hard to try the other dishes I could hear other patrons compliment because my breakfast was so good. Give it a try and tell me if Im wrong.

Mark Tripi Very friendly people had a chance to meet the owner. I haven’t been in there in about 15 years. The food was still great. The prices were fairly decent and I was very very pleased. I would recommend this place for a roast beef

Paula Ruggiero We stopped here to eat from a evening fall festival. I ordered two sides, both were cold. My friend ordered a double cheeseburger meal. They told her four minutes. We waited and waited. The same girl asked are you waiting for something. My friend said yeah my food that I paid almost twelve dollars for. Seriously. They were all in the back on their phones goofing off. Another girl came up to apologise. We were the only ones in there. They offered her a free side. The fries were cold. Food not fresh. A few of our co-workers complained about this place. Should have listened. Took pictures of the floor, table, and seat. Dirty. Trying to post.

Dennis Derichs Great place to hang out and meet the locals as youre traveling through. Small place. Friendly staff and patrons. Example...we walked in the door, my wife going in first, and a woman at the bar reached over her shoulder without turning around to give her money! Well it wasnt really for her but it was funny to everybody. Reasonably priced drinks!! Great patrons!
