Grand Buffet - (Near Mahopac, NY)

3 /5 I A. “Missy”: Food is good quality, better than a standard buffet. Seafood was good but they cut the lobster in half and left all the guts all green inside so it was like putting poop on the plate. They only brought 3 every half hour, on a Sunday so folks had to line up and fight to get one. The staff ate the food they serve and thats always a good sign! Lemon chicken was a bit strange. It was a lemon pepper breaded version. Not very good they didnt add to it while we were there cos no one ate it. They have an ice cream freezer which is great. They lost a star because they charge kids by height not age. A 70lb kid had to pay full adult price and they didnt eat any seafood. It was very pricey overall but we had a good time and staff were very nice.

5 /5 nkechi: For a family priced buffet they really added some thoughtful touches with the decor, the lighting, the booths, the art work nicely done. I really enjoyed all of the food I had not one complaint very fresh and flavorful. Good variety of food for their lunch buffet. Can’t wait to come back with my kids I know the assortment of ice cream cups will hit it off with them, the only buffet I’ve been to where they have blue raspberry, lemon, strawberry Italian ice cups as well ice cream pops, and your standard chocolate, strawberry, vanilla ice cream cups, I usually prefer a nice soft serve ice cream option but the assortment more than made up for this. The staff were very friendly the Buffet was pretty crowded for lunch and I was checked on regularly they never let my cup get empty and always removed items as they were finished. Been back to this establishment a few times since my initial review every time great food great experience. The last time I went there I noticed they have a drink menu aside from their fountain drinks. They offer beer and wine and some other drinks as well, what caught my eye were the mocktails strawberry and pina colada, $5 I had to get a pina colada really enjoyed it. Everyone that works here is just incredible one of the reasons I continue to come back.

5 /5 Sheba Gemini: Newly opened buffet, first time here and the food was great! Love the taste and food choices. The shrimp and mushroom stuffing are awesome. Edamame fresh and scrumptious. The dinner price is $23.99 person and unlimited refill for drinks. I didn’t like the taste of the water. They have nice clean bathroom and plenty of parking space. The servers were very attentive and polite. Will come back to try lunch next time!

5 /5 Jason Anderson: Havent been to a Chinese Buffet for many years since my all time favorite one started going downhill. I heard about the opening of Grand Buffet and, while out on a Saturday ride, decided to stop by and give it a shot. First off, very clean, almost new looking interior. Staff was very nice and attentive, took the empty plates almost as soon as they were done. Bathrooms were clean and new looking as well. Food was very good. Items were rotated often and empty trays were refilled very quickly. Food counter was wiped down often by the servers. Boneless ribs were superb, but the bone in ribs fell flat. All of the other food was absolutely delicious. (Didnt try the Sushi or Sashimi, but maybe next time). 2 people, with tip, came to a little over $70 which is more than reasonable considering you can spend $30 or more at your local Chinese place for one single dish and some appetizers. Here you get the entire menu and as much as youd like for the same price. Definitely recommeneded and will be coming back again.
