5 /5 kaleja AreSja: I’m not sure how to capture this in words, but this restaurant is nothing short of extraordinary. I don’t know what it is, but I absolutely adore this place. Today I decided to try something different—the pulled pork—and I genuinely didn’t think anything could surpass the beef arepa (I believe that’s what it’s called). Oh, how unbelievably wrong I was.
The pulled pork was extraordinary. It had layers of flavor—each one distinct, vibrant, and dynamic—yet somehow they all harmonized perfectly. You can tell the person in the kitchen is a true artisan and a master of his craft, turning humble ingredients into something genuinely remarkable. Every bite feels intentional, balanced, and unforgettable.
This is not a five-star restaurant—this is a place that makes the entire rating system feel inadequate. Twenty stars wouldn’t be enough. My only “complaint”—and it’s hardly a complaint, more of a selfish wish—is that I’d love for it to be open more often. But honestly, the limited hours almost make the experience better. The anticipation builds, and when I search it on Google and see the word “Open” written in green, it feels like winning the jackpot.
An outstanding culinary gem in Broome County—a place that turns a simple meal into an experience—and one I wholeheartedly recommend.
