3 /5 Pavel Push: Small local place with a lot of patient about food. Some meats age good the rest, well, at least they trying. Lets say that. And the creative decoration making place unique and cozy. But Texas people would rather shot the place to avoid further suffering.

1 /5 Yalandis Powell: This was literally the worst food that I have ever eaten in my life. My family and I ate here on a random day. I got the pulled pork, cole slaw and baked beans. I threw almost all of my food away. I didn’t want to waste money so I ate a little bit of it. There was literally no flavor in sight. Terrible terrible… everything tasted like nothing. I wish that I could make this up, but nope worst food ever. And I am from the south where we have really good bbq. The pork taste like it was taken out of the packaging and just thrown on the grill to smoke. Nothing else. The baked beans tasted like they came straight out of the can with a touch of bbq sauce. Disgusting. And the Cole slaw was so disappointing, eeeeyyuuccckkk!! Save your coins and do not eat here. Ever!

5 /5 Marley Smith: This place is great! All-around gem. The food was tasty and served at the right temperature. Cute decor throughout keeps your eyes interested while enjoying the savory bites. We had the 3-meat platter, Cuban sandwich, and quesadilla. Everyone cleaned their plates!

5 /5 Erin Kelly: This is going to be in response to the negative review by Yalandis…. I used to live in Watertown/Ft Drum. Im originally from Georgia, have lived in Houston for a while now. Holy Smokes had some of the BEST pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, and CORNBREAD you will find anywhere. Hands down. The pulled pork and mac sandwich was to absolutely die for. Ive tried dozens of bbq places here in Texas, in Kansas City, in Georgia and the Carolinas. These people KNOW what they’re doing. Im not sure where this person ate at, but it couldn’t have been Holy Smokes. I’ve actually thought about how much I MISS Holy Smokes and Pete’s. That was incredible food. I lived in Miami last year and all the food/restaurants there are over priced and way overrated. Enjoy the food of upstate NY! That good stuff is HARD to find!

5 /5 Clarivell Reyes: Loved the food here everything was perfect and served fast and piping hot. The ladies at the counter were so nice and they were very understanding that it was my first time there. Will definitely be back again for their ribs and their Mac and cheese. Their cornbread is one of the best Ive ever had.
