ebony shears we had an amazing experience on a wednesday night. first time dining here and i have zero complaints. we were welcomed warmly and the atmosphere is cozy. the wild arugula and pear salad was perfect, farfallone with chili butter and breadcrumbs was such a unique pasta dish an indulgent blend of flavors and textures, rainbow trout simultaneously subtle and luxurious, and the pork chop just might be the best i’ve had. add a couple of fantastic cocktails, a super creamy tiramisu and beyond impeccable service by Nicole, and it became a perfect way to treat someone for their birthday! we will definitely be back.

dougherty donna “dsnynut” We went for a one nite stay and had such a fun time stayed for 3! The entire staff at Reception are all Wonderful but in particular Mandy, the Admin Assistant who managed to get us the room for 3 nites. We had a suite on the 3rd nite and were able to sit on the balcony to watch the races. Maureen, Peter, Abigail and everyone who works in the Homestretch Grill are Fantastic. We like that the food is individually made-to-order and the baked goods Excellent (Thanks Maureen!). Burgers were Great too! The buffet breakfast is one of the best anywhere with multiple choices and Cathy & Donna who work there are also Super! Wish Id won more playing in the casino but with all the benefits, it was a Wonderful mini-getaway...Excellent staff, Great accommodation, Great food, and fun trying the Casino games!

Dan Flansburg One of my favorite restaurants. Everything we have gotten here has been excellent. I highly recommend getting the breakfast sandwich if youre here for lunch.

A R All of the restaurants within walking distance of the Hyatt were closed on Sunday night when we arrived, so we gave the Placery within the hotel a try. The service at the bar was great, and while the menu was limited, the food was more than solid. We were both pleasantly surprised tonight!

Cat M. We were looking for a place to eat since we only had a few hours to spend in Albany, found this place online. Will be honest at first I wasnt so enthusiastic about the place we walked by without noticing the entrance. The place was empty, so we got a table right away. We order the food and drinks. Our waitress came several times to the table to check on us. The fried chicken with the mac and cheese was amazing but the rice was not much. As appetizer, we got chicken egg rolls and they were delicious. Definitely try their banana pudding it was the best way to end our trip to Albany.
