3 /5 David Brooke: I was so excited because my friend brought me on a special occasion, unfortunately the service was sub par. The dinner was served with apps still on the table, plates were cleared late making it awkward to place plates. One dinner was given to me by accident and when I said it’s not what I ordered the waiter seemed to argue with me like they knew it was right and I was wrong. Since my friend’s plate wasn’t cleared I had to wait for that to happen before I could hand her the dinner she ordered. Later we were given a free desert, but then when the bill came we were charged for it requiring a bunch of time to charge the cards again. The food was great and the drinks too, but a lot to be desired for the service, especially since I live far away and will likely not return for some time. Our main server was quite nice and seemed good at her job. My friend feels bad that I am writing this further making this meal a sour spot on my visit.

4 /5 A G: This place is built to impress. From the first sight of it on the hill, to the winding drive theough the orchards and vineyards, to the sweeping view from the bar. We took the tour which unfortunately disappointed. I was hoping to learn more about vermouth, but I didnt know the questions to ask and the guide was fairly scripted. My take away is that if you drive north to visit you will likely be impressed and awed. If you travel south (as we did) you may think this venue to be a bit pretentious.

5 /5 Isaac Brown: This place was a little out of the way for us but I’m glad we had the opportunity to visit Klocke Estate. It was our favorite meal of the restaurants we tried on our trip to the Catskills, and the commanding view of the surrounding area from the top of the hill along with mountains in the distance made for a lovely backdrop for photo-taking. All of the dishes we had (croquettes, carrots, cavatelli) were flavorful, well-executed, and perfectly portioned, as was the cherry dessert. I enjoyed the sidecar and I saw a few more drinks on the menu Id be interested in coming back for next time. Service was excellent throughout from all of the staff members we met. It’s certainly not a place to go for those who want the greatest quantity of food per dollar, but for us it was absolutely worth it. Whenever we next return to the Catskills area, we’ll be sure to stop by again.

5 /5 Cate Miller: My friend and I went for my birthday this past Sunday evening for dinner and it was a wonderful experience! We arrived a little early for our 5pm dinner reservation, and just admired the views and grabbed a drink from the bar until the restaurant portion opened. The grounds are STUNNING, the drinks were phenomenal and the entire style of the interior is beautiful. Highly recommend catching a sunset here!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly staff and breathtaking valley views that set the tone for a truly unforgettable experience. Our tasting guide was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through each offering with insight and passion that made the whole experience feel elevated and personal. We had never done a Vermouth tasting before and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were as a standalone drink, not just a mix in! For dinner, the food was beautifully presented and thoughtfully paired to complement the wines. One of the most touching moments was receiving a handwritten letter for our anniversary after dinner, such a meaningful and thoughtful gesture that made our visit feel even more special. Klocke Estate is not just a distillery, it’s an experience that is refined, warm, and full of heart. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Hudson Valley, we can’t wait to return!
