La Manda’s Restaurant - (Near White Plains, NY)

Vera Shtefanuka I can highly recommend their carrot cake. I was pleasantly surprised to see authentic Italian sfogliatella on the dessert menu. Nice assortment of hot teas. Chicken salad was good.

Jade Strauss My family came back after the reopening and the space feels so much more open and airy. The food is still amazing—honestly might be even better. We were starving and only snagged photos of dessert, but for dinner I had the mushroom ravioli and it was super filling and delicious. I tried one of their cocktails (can’t remember the name). It skewed more tart than fruity for me, but my sister liked it. Desserts were absolutely to die for! I’m sad they dropped the crème brûlée (also to die for. I would only come to Bocca just to have it and nothing else), but the blueberry ravioli—sweet jam in a pancake-like fried dough with vanilla ice cream—was outstanding. The Cookie Vesuvius Cake had a molten center that flowed chocolate, and the tiramisu was excellent too (no pic, we inhaled it). Overall, the service was wonderful; our server had great recommendations. I’ll absolutely be back for dinner—and honestly, I’d come just for the desserts. I hope to stop by soon!

Olivia Fontes The gluten free food options here are absolutely delicious and SO flavorful. They change cooking equipment and utensils for their gluten free meals marked as an allergy. The restaurant is so clean and the owner is very friendly and kind. The meal was so good I even got something to go on top of my leftovers. Will absolutely be returning again whenever I find myself back in Albany!

Jessica Jankowski This place is so good. Ut was hard to choose what to eat because there were a lot of good options. I split the buffalo chicken pizza with my dad and it was very good. I dont like hot or spicy food but the buffalo sauce had just enough heat to taste it without it being too much. We went with a group of people and everyone commented on how good all the food looked and tasted. Will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu.

Edward Molen A very nice place to eat right on Lake Erie. The Naval Park was a bonus. The fried fish (Haddock) with side salad was fantastic. If in Buffalo, you have to try this place. The upstairs museum was closed unfortunately.
