5 /5 Jeffrey Duke: Im a sucker for a square pie so these guys already had my number from the get-go, but if you put Cooper American on a square pie - now thats how you get a five star review from me every time. Their Ricci pizza is one of my absolute favorite pizzas ever, period. I like to add their house ground sausage which elevates it even further. It makes it almost impossible for me to want to try anything else on the menu. However, I always want to be subjective so Ive sampled quite a bit. Their house Zuzu sauce makes some of the most flavorful spiedies you can get - even better if you toss them on a white pie with their garlic infused olive oil. I gotta try their smash burger or their new chicken sandwich soon because they look phenomenal. Rotating taps always have something for every palette. Whether you like hoppy, fruity, tart, sweet, or dry just work with the smiling face behind the counter and theyll hook you up with the right brew. Speaking of those smiling faces, this is the kind of place where they learn your name if you stop in enough times, but theyll treat you like family even if youve only been there once. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is that its a pretty small joint. When the weather is nice you can take things outside as theres ample outdoor space, but if its cold or wet you may find yourself rubbing elbows with quite a few folks. If its in their ambition to expand someday I wish them all the success in the world to make that happen.
