3 /5 Ted Stewart: We were excited to try LM Social in Syracuse, and to be fair, the atmosphere was absolutely amazing—stylish, vibrant, and had a great energy. The drinks were also spot on—props to the bartender who not only made excellent cocktails but also had great service and personality. Definitely 5 stars on that front.
Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. Our Devil Wears Burrata appetizer came out frozen in the middle, which was really disappointing. We also tried the Flambéing Shrimp, which sounded exciting but tasted bland and lifeless, more like a reheated spring appetizer from a grocery store than something freshly prepared.
The poor food experience led us to skip dinner altogether, which says a lot. Service was decent overall—our bartender was the highlight—but we felt let down by the kitchen.
We’d come back for drinks and the vibe, but definitely not for the food.
