The Maker Restaurant - Hudson

Rating: 4 /5
Jennifer Henry A date night well spent. The ambiance is always wonderful, but with the holiday decor, it took everything up a notch. We haven’t been since the new chef took over, and he did not disappoint. The drinks, the salad, the entrees (we got the pork collar & sea bass), and the dessert were all balanced and tasty. Maura, our server, was attentive and kind. Can’t wait to come back!

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - White Plains

Rating: 4.5 /5
Graham Reid Gyu-Kaku was my first Japanese BBQ and my first experience cooking for myself at a restaurant, and it was overall an excellent experience! The meats all tasted premium, and all the sides were even better than expected. The staff was very helpful in instructing you how each thing should be cooked and were generally very friendly. The atmosphere itself was a nice vibe, too. Chill, comfortable, friendly. A great spot for lunch or dinner with friends and family!

Pita Gourmet - Cortland

Rating: 4.5 /5
Daisuke Kobayashi Pita Gourmet was a very pleasant surprise for Cortland. The menu and the dishes themselves feel thoughtfully put together and true to the spirit of Middle Eastern cuisine, with flavors that taste fresh, balanced, and carefully prepared rather than generic. There’s a great range of options: pita wraps and other easy-to-eat items that work perfectly for takeout, as well as full plated dishes that feel right for a proper sit-down meal. It makes the place useful for almost any occasion, from a quick bite to a more relaxed dinner. Preparation was quick, the staff were friendly, and the overall experience left a strong impression. If I find myself in Cortland again, I’ll definitely be stopping here.

M Johns We stopped here during a weekend trip and I am glad we did. I ordered the meatball tunnel and split a small Nashville Chicken Pizza with my friend. The meatball tunnel was HUGE. Its essentially a meatball stromboli but loved the name so I ordered it. It was very tasty and even tasted good after being reheated at home then eaten cold the next day. The pizza was also very very good. The crust was flavorful and chewy. Cant wait to try their other pizza flavors. I also had 2 beers, both were very good as well. Come hungry and leave full(for 2 days).

IQ Our second time here this time it was much better than the first time. We order a pound of king crabs a pound of snow, crabs, two lobster tails and a dozen clams and the butter garlic sauce. We had the chicken wings in the hot sauce for appetizer. Everything was delicious. We took the waitresses recommendation to add Ramen and she was right, it was amazing. Definitely worth the extra four dollars. Our waitress can’t remember her name she was very attentive. We can’t wait to come back again.
