Jeff Matisoff Wonderful doesnt come close. We were a party of 10 including 3 kids, and we couldnt have had a more perfect afternoon. The food!! Yes of course the pizza but everything we ate was delicious -- mozzarella tomato salad, calamari, baked clams (to die for), soft and delicious chicken parm, the eggplant Sicilian ziti, the spaghetti marinara... Great inexpensive house chianti. And of course an incredible dessert platter. Thanks to the entire team - we will definitely be back!
rubirosa

Rubirosa - New York

Rating: 4.6 /5
MSJ Good vibes good food. The restaurant was packed and wait time was 45 minutes but we were seated in the back near the pizza making which was better than the front. Very cozy vibes. The food was great! The pizza was so good that I ate more slices than my usual. Mushroom pasta paired perfectly with the pizza and the fried calamari was a great starter. I would definitely recommend Rubirosa if you are around the area. Prepare for a bit of wait and cramped seating, but definitely worth it for the quality of the food here. Recommend maybe a smaller party from 2~4 due to the table size limits. Great experience and willing to visit again!

Parkers Grille & Tap House - Newark

Rating: 4.4 /5
Craig Crandall Parkers Grill and Tap House did not disappoint. True to their fashion, the service was more than top notch. The food, on time and delicious as usual. Their Beef on Weck sandwich was absolutely amazing. My wife had a delicious salad topped with a great beef steak and Bleu cheese dressing. Not too busy, plenty of space to enjoy visiting with the ppl we were with. They enjoyed their food too. Parkers is definitely one of our favorite places to go, and we will be returning.

Jason Patricks on 44 - Poughkeepsie

Rating: 4.4 /5
Annie Hendricks I had to pull together a last-minute gathering for 35 people and Jason Patrick’s came highly recommended—and now I know why. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and friendly. They were quick to respond to questions, requests, and last-minute changes, which made everything feel effortless. The food was fantastic and the service was just as good. We did the buffet with appetizers, three entrées, sides, and dessert, and it was all excellent. The room was set up perfectly and felt especially cozy on a very cold day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jason Patrick’s for any event or gathering.

Baci - Staten Island - Staten Island

Kimberly Huang After a long day, we decided to stay in and order way too much food. Things kicked off with the appetizers: beef carpaccio that disappeared in seconds, crispy calamari that didn’t even need sauce, blackened tuna salad that had a nice little zing, and broccoli rabe that made me feel slightly healthy. Then came the parade of entrées. The linguine with clams and linguine with crabs were both solid choices. The octopus baci was surprisingly tender, the mac and cheese was rich and comforting, and the New York strip was cooked just right. And then there was the Angry Lobster. Let’s just say it was angry for a reason—full of sand and not exactly a crowd favorite. Dessert saved the day. The vanilla crème brûlée had that perfect crack on top and was creamy enough to make you forget all about the lobster drama. Overall, great meal. Would I order again? Absolutely. But next time, I’m ghosting the lobster.

Noah Large We came on New Years for their Harry Potter themed tasting dinner. All the courses were unique and tasted wonderful. The place is a bit small but is still a great place to go.
