Moros Kitchen - (Near Skaneateles, NY)

3 /5 Anna Crim: I feel bad leaving not the best review, because I love supporting local businesses and I ABSOLUTELY love Moros in Auburn. Unfortunately the Moros in Skan is absolutely less than the Auburn location. I’ve been there twice for 2 very important occasions, they were aware of it, yet our waitresses was cold & rude and the food is subpar. The vibe compared to the Auburn location is so different, we felt so uncomfortable and not a priority at all in the Skaneateles location. The Auburn location make us feel welcomed and is warm and is so much more family oriented. I don’t see myself going back to the Skaneateles Moros ANY TIME SOON. Sorry!

5 /5 Kilts Karynn (Karynn Altmann): Whether you’re in a suit or a t-shirt, Moro’s Kitchen is your place! I recommend reservations (even for 2 people). The atmosphere is located in a beautiful stone building steps away from Skaneateles Lake. The food was excellent and the staff were more than wonderful! Leave room for dessert!

5 /5 Mason Otero: Great food, but they cant serve hard liquor outside which is weird (old blue law, not their fault)

1 /5 Charlie Balko: Placed and order for their online menu pasta and vodka sauce and two chicken Reggie’s and three garlic breads. They said they were out of Reggie’s so changed the order to two pastas at two garlic breads. I am placing the order to a person. When I pick up my order there are the two pasta orders a three pieces of plane bread . I asked about the garlic bread and they said they don’t make it. Yet they charged be $12 and the person taking the order never mentioned that. They finally said they would refund the money but the credit never hit my card. Good food if you sit down, do not take out. They do not care about takeout orders.

2 /5 Kayleigh Whelan: We made reservations for our anniversary and noted this on the reservation. We arrived 10 minutes early and when we walked through the door the hostess greeted us with a snoody “do you have a reservation?” When I said yes she said nothing else and walked us towards a table. She didn’t look back and clinked her pen on the table to let us know it was ours. Again, didn’t look back, greet us in anyway, or tell us someone would be over, no enjoy your meals.. nothing. The water on the table was warm with the ice all melted. We didn’t see a server for 10 minutes. Tables that were seated after us were greeted before us. Again we had a reservation. Finally when someone did come by there was again no greeting all she said was “what can I get you” so we ordered our meals and drinks. No mention of the specials, no introduction of who she was, nothing. We saw her again when we got our food and that was it. I’m baffled at the vibe the staff gave off. We felt out of place and nothing felt special at all. The food was great but the wait staff’s attitude left a bad taste in my mouth.
