4 /5 Ron Martinson: Solid neighborhood spot with great food, friendly service, and a comfortable vibe. Came for lunch and left impressed.
Starter:
Steak Tidbits -- sizzling filet mignon bites cooked perfectly medium rare, super tender, and packed with flavor. The horseradish sauce gave it just the right kick without overpowering the meat. Couldve eaten a plate of these as a meal.
Mains:
Steak Sandwich: Juicy grilled skirt steak piled high with caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms on fresh wedge bread. Fries were crisp and hot. Big portion, worth the price.
Grilled Chicken & Avocado Wrap: Nicely done -- fresh tomato, spicy mayo with a little heat, and the sourdough wrap held up well. Another generous portion with good fries.
North Street Bacon Cheeseburger: Classic and satisfying. Perfectly cooked patty, melted cheese, crispy bacon, and a soft brioche bun. Fries again on point.
Service was quick and attentive without hovering. The place was lively but not too loud -- great for catching up over a meal. Prices are fair for the quality.
Bottom line: Reliable local tavern with consistently good food and solid portions. Everything came out hot and cooked right. Lost one star only because the kitchen was a bit backed up during the lunch rush, but overall, Id definitely go back.
