5 /5 Hunter Klein: Our wedding was at Nura, and I truly don’t believe there’s another venue out there that could’ve checked all our boxes or provided a better experience than they did. It was absolutely phenomenal. My wife and I had always wanted to get married in Brooklyn (we live in Greenpoint, have generally lived in Brooklyn for 10 years) in a non-venue-venue, which we found to be tough with larger families. Admittedly Nura was always our top choice because we’d been there several times for brunch/dinner, and thank the lord they came through with availability. Nura’s event planner, Mel, was with us every step of the way to accommodate the 110 person guest list, which to that point was the most they’d ever had, plus an 8-piece band, which was the biggest they ever had. She was amazing, as was Ana, as was Soli, all the way from our initial meet-and-greet, to rolling out the red carpet for us on the tasting, to the big day. The 360-bar was perfect, and nobody was waiting for a drink all night. As expected from the restaurant, service was outstanding, and food was some of the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding. We received many compliments from people saying exactly that. We had our ceremony there, too, which was expertly choreographed in a way that blended traditional with a warmth and coziness that felt perfect to us. Again, as we look back, the overlap of our wedding venn diagram was very difficult to nail—it was hard for us to even envision what it would be—and I honestly don’t know if there’s another venue out there that could’ve done it, or done it as well as Nura did. We are so grateful to their staff for making it a reality!
