Bistro LeRoux - Lake George

Quinn Granger Let me start off by saying my fiancé and i’s experience here was amazing! From the second we got there we were welcomed by the very kind hostess and led to our booth right by the bar we had a great server as well we both started off with soups, the tomatoe soup for me has always been a staple here ever since I was young. I haven’t been back since 2017 ish and the tomatoe soup is as amazing as i remember it! My fiance got French onion and that was fantastic as well both had great flavor and were both a great temperature. Then we had the surf and turf, and the rack of lamb. Both were great and the way both dishes were layered and set up were amazing. The sides were well flavored and different from other restaurants in the area. We both got desserts. The molten chocolate cake and the apple pie. I haven’t been this excited about a restaurant in a long long time. The service the food and quality is something I look for. This place outperformed my expectations. I absolutely will be returning! And the small dish portions were a perfect size after the soups! Again a absolutely phenomenal experience!

Katherine Gallagher So thrilled to have Jacks back. The food and drinks were high quality and delicious, and Im surprised to say the service was even better! Attentive from the moment we stepped in the doorway. This was a class act from start to finish, fine dining all the way around. Cant wait to go back!

Randy Girgenti Easily one of the best restaurant’s in Rochester! The service was top tier! The wait staff was super attentive, knowledgeable and very efficient. Since this was an anniversary dinner we tried several different cocktails from the menu, all were excellent! I highly recommend the 32oz Rib eye, Chicory salad, Cacio e Pepe (pasta dish) to name a few. We will definitely be coming back!

Yon Burke Very inviting and cozy place. Great whiskey bar and rustic atmosphere. Food was quite diverse with a mixture of American, Korean, and Italian items. French onion soup was delicious. We had the pork belly buns appetizer which was fantastic. Very festive and with happy patrons.

Vlad Loenko You’d never expect that down a beaten path you’d find one of the best hidden gems in Rochester! A cozy, comfy spot with an incredible staff and food. The menu was small (always a great sign) and we got crab cake, escargot, salmon and Duck breast. Blown AWAY! Both chefs have been there for decades and take extreme pride in their hard work. We assumed there was a saucier (turns out there isn’t, and it’s just the handiwork of the extremely talented chefs!) because of how well the flavors came together. Will 100% be back and highly excited to share our experience.
