Kuma Ani - Troy

Rating: 4.5 /5
Sharon B This was a delicious ramen restaurant in Troy that we had visited for dinner on a Saturday evening. There are about 4 booths and 3 counter height tables inside. We were able to snag a booth after a few minutes of waiting. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer for your order. The ultimate tonkatsu ramen and the regular tonkatsu ramen were both delicious and I recommend them. A friend said that her curry ramen was a bit too spicy but it did look good. I do like spicy food so I might try that next time. Ordered the Chicken karage and it was delicious too. Very nice and juicy chicken wings with your choice of sauce. We chose the BBQ garlic and it was ok. Not much flavor to it so I dont recommend that sauce. Service was very friendly!

The Alcove - Sunnyside

SB P This place is usually PACKED. I probably have the weather to thank for a swift seating at the bar. We were treated by a very nice lady who gave us the menus. We ordered the churros with vanilla ice cream as well as a mojito flight. As I do not drink alcohol, the lady was kind enough to make mine non alcoholic. My partner and I chatted, laughed and had an overall nice time. The place wasn’t over crowded or tight. The music was modern, fun, and low enough to hear ourselves. I have been here once before and received great treatment by the staff. That time I had steak lollipops and nachos. Very delicious.

Donovans Steak & Ale - Malone

Rating: 4.7 /5
Cris T. I went 2 separate times while I was in Malone for a work trip, and it did not disappoint. The fries were so good since they are hand cut and made fresh. I got their steak frites an the steak was cooked well and it was flavorful. Their Sriracha bacon burger was big and worth the price.

Its a Utica Thing! Kitchen & Bar - Utica

saggy dan U-tica? U-BETCHA!! Do NOT let the bland exterior fool you or deter you from eating here. Inside of its nondescript exterior lies this hidden Italian gem that evokes the famous Italian eateries of Little Italy and Brooklyn - but at a fraction of the price you pay in NYC. A modern, classy theme permeates the interior of this authentic, family-run joint, and puts you at ease while ordering a cocktail or beer. Their pasta is homemade and their sauce is tangy yet robust; a perfect combination. Chicken parm is a staple and cooked to perfection while the white pizza has a delicate touch to it that belies its simplicity. A cannoli for dessert will help round out a meal you’ll be happy you ate while looking forward to the next visit. I never thought I’d find such a great Italian restaurant in this neck of the woods, but make no mistake: It’s a Utica Thing! Plays its part to perfection. Visit. Eat. Be Happy. Come Again…

Maria M Came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The food and drinks were delicioussss. Music was fire and staff were so nice! I heard the birthday music while we were finishing up our drinks and started recording just in case lol and I’m glad I did because the drive-by cowboy hat part was hilarious! I forgot I had mentioned to our server when we arrived that we were celebrating his birthday so that was a lovely surprise at the end!❤️ We’ll deff be back.

Miss SaiGon - Poughkeepsie

Chunyi Quan The best Vietnamese restaurant in Poughkeepsie! They offer extremely authentic and tasty pho and chewy bubble tea. As a student close by, Miss Saigon is my favorite restaurant and come here at least once a week. Highly recommended!
