5 /5 Laurie Ann Di Maio: I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for years and have always enjoyed my experiences here. For my mother’s 78th birthday and my own 56th, I chose to celebrate at this location, as it has always been a favorite.
Our server, Kathleen, provided exceptional service—she went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring we had a wonderful experience despite one major issue. Unfortunately, the food from the brunch menu did not meet expectations. The kitchen served our meals cold, which was disappointing, especially for a party of five. I typically do not send food back, but on this occasion, I had to return both my meal and my daughter’s. The Eggs in Purgatory dish, which I was particularly excited to try, did not live up to its reputation and was quite underwhelming.
That being said, the fruit platter and drinks were absolutely fantastic, and Kathleen’s outstanding service truly made our day. She even surprised us with candles and a birthday song, making the celebration extra special. Her kindness and attentiveness deserve recognition, and I sincerely hope she is acknowledged for her dedication.
While the overall experience was pleasant, I do hope the kitchen improves its food quality and consistency in the future. Cold food can significantly impact the enjoyment of a meal. I look forward to returning and hope for a better dining experience next time.
