Acorn Pub & Eatery at Oak Mountain - Speculator

Rating: 4.6 /5
Danny H The best restaurant in the Speculator area! Food was top notch and the home made desserts are to die for! We had chocolate mousse dessert with chocolate chip cookies, it was so rich and thick.

The Local Food Market & Cafe - Cortland

Rating: 4.6 /5
Nicholas DeLessio Good place to go for high quality organic options, and effectively the only option in town for this sort of thing. I stop in here from time to time when Im looking for a specific supplement, better quality teas and spices, raw cheeses, and that sort of thing. I wouldnt use them for all of my grocery shopping, but theyre a good supplemental option.

The Elm - Lowville

Rating: 4.8 /5
T-n-T E&W One of our favorite places to eat in Lowville. Food is always excellent and they have specials. I particularly like their fish - sandwich or dinner. And if you leave room, the always have fresh pastries.

Good Eat’n - Kingston

Rating: 4.9 /5
Angela Paul Wow, wow, wow. I tried a new restaurant today, Good Eat’n and it was dellllliciooussss!!!! We started out with the fried fish and fried chicken wings. The spices and the flavor were right on. It was totally amazing. It came with a choice of several sides and we chose, macaroni and cheese and the potato salad. The mac and cheese was creamy and tasty but that potato salad OMG, just the way my mama makes it. I couldn’t get enough so then we ordered a side of rice and black eyed peas by then i was stuffed with the big portions they give you. What a great experience I had, the staff and the owner were so pleasant and accommodating. At the end of our meal he gave us a taste of his sweet potato cornbread. That was truly the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to go back. The whole experience was very satisfying.

TWISTED RAIL BREWING CANANDAIGUA - Canandaigua

Rating: 4.4 /5
michael ruglio First Time at Twisted Rail...very friendly staff. Moved here from New Jersey about 5 years ago and had no idea they had a barbecue pit and its freaking good! The pulled pork was awesome salt potatoes macaroni salad no complaints whatsoever food was top quality.... Susie came by just to check on us to see how things were going... She saw we were struggling with selfies and offered to take some photos... Although she was not an owner of the joint she walked around checking up on things like she was... Great experience. Im more of a wine guy but my "Lake to Lake" summer selection was refreshing and was one of their lightest beers.... Nice outdoor seating and views of the lake. Would definitely go back for the barbecue and the beer!!! Nice job!

Namaste India Poughkeepsie - Poughkeepsie

Rating: 4.5 /5
Donna Ng Namaste, Namaste! So happy to have a good eat-in Indian restaurant in the area. We enjoyed the food and service. The decor is not much changed from the previous falafel restaurant. Its very clean and comfortable if not atmospheric. We had the fried calamari appetizer, which came with butter chicken sauce. Id prefer a lighter batter but they were tasty. My husband and I loved the tandoori shrimp, a generous portion, and the dal makhani. I asked for medium spice on the lentils and would call it more on the hot side. Not too hot for my taste, but next time Id get mild. The whole adds up to more than the sum of its parts, so 5 stars, and I look forward to enjoying more meals here!
