Smokey’s Brick-B-Que - (Near Goshen, NY)

4 /5 Mai5en: Food: The food wasn’t incredible. The menu didn’t have that big of a variety either, just some chicken, pulled pork sandwich and some tasteless fries. Not a lot of good things to say about it. Service: The restaurant is self serving meaning you don’t get a waiter that brings you the food like in most restaurants. Adding to that, the line to get the food is long and takes about 15 minutes on a busy day. Atmosphere: Now here, I can say a few good things! First, it’s Lego themed, with the entrance being a giant Lego dragon and the inside looking like a fiery volcano’s inside. Taking into account the not-so-great food, this was supposed to be one of those restaurants where you pop in, get food, and get out and keep enjoying the park. But to be honest, it’s not even great at that with the long wait and the manticore food. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

3 /5 jay: This is a pretty alright barbecue place, with things like salad, pulled pork, kids meals and so on. On the food it’s a little spicy but the overall flavors are pretty strong and mild with alright portions sizes. Finally this place also has many condiments and some nice drink concession stands, so overall this is a pretty decent barbecue place.

3 /5 Mabel: Updated from July 22 Visit. The food taste ok, but they raised the price and reduced the amount of food by a lot. Original review from Aug 21: We liked the beef brisket the best, juicy and tender. The pulled pork was dry but the taste was good. We were surprised that the food was flavorful and didnt taste overly salty.

3 /5 Charlie: The majority of food was not good. The only decent thing was the beans. Good for getting out of the sun and for a drink.
