Spaghettini Pizza Trattoria - (Near Mineola, NY)

Nina TS My wife and I went here with friends who were visiting. I’ve never been and I’ve only heard good things about The Rusty Pig. The waitress was very kind and let us take our time with the menu. The acoustics of the restaurant made it a little difficult to hear. We had to talk louder than normal and lean forward. We were also seated next to other smaller occupied tables, where there were people seated already. If we had been spaced out a little bit more, that might have helped with the hearing. The first thing we decided to split was the Loaded Buffalo Pierogis. They were deliciously flavored and not too hot. All 4 of us ordered something different. I ordered The Pink Lady Chicken Sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese (because you HAVE to try that). They were both very yummy and filling. My spouse got Heavy Kevi’s Famous Brisket with cornbread, apple slaw and Mac and cheese. The food was filling and it could have been two meals. We finished the day with Caramel S’mores Nachos, which was very gooey and exactly as you’d expect for a plate of sweet fried dough. Overall, it’s a worthwhile experience to stop in and try one of Geneva’s best known restaurants.

Tanesha Wilkerson Delicious I’ve had the honey bbq jerk chicken out of this world, pork chops were amazing I mean down to the bone I’ve also had the Mac and cheese, cabbage and collard greens also candied yams some of the best around I will definitely be eating from here at least twice a week!!!!

Steve Losey Pretty busy for around 11am on a Friday. I order takeout. Ask the the cashier what she thought was the best, she led me to the Breakfast Burrito ( One of the best Ive had hands down). Also order there Brisket Breakfast Sandwich Special and the Orange/Berry muffin. Everything was really good. Definitely recommend checking it out.

R Brice I had a half order of chef spaghetti. I am not a small person, however, a half order is plenty to eat. It comes with a garden salad. The chef spaghetti has restaurant made pasta fresh that day. The sauce is well balanced, they definitely do not add corn syrup in it however, I do not know if they add a pinch of sugar or just use vine ripened sweet tomatoes. There is a lot of meat in the sauce as well as a meatball one sausage, several mushroom shoulder, sliced up, however, I believe the mushrooms were canned not fresh. I could be wrong with that. The three people I were with one had a special order hamburger and a baked potato, drowning, and butter because they asked for it to be drowning in butter. The hamburger was cooked exactly the way they wanted. The second person had ribeye. I may be a little old-fashioned, but the ribeye look to be between six and 8 ounces. It was cooked the way a rib I should, on the rare side. They ate all of it. The third person had some type of fish. As I remember them saying the fish was delicious, not overcooked. We were seated at a table. Which means all of the sound from the other 15 or so tables interfered with our conversation. I have eaten there at least 20 times and we typically get a booth which keeps most of the noise out. We always eat on a Saturday and make reservations. Those people that don’t make reservations can usually wait 45 minutes or more to get seated. There is a zero step entrance so it is handicap accessible. There are two doors to get in through so someone will have to help you open the doors. It is mostly an Italian menu, so there are not very many vegetarian dishes available. I am not certain that the sauce is meat sauce so ask

Billy This place is for an older crowd which was excellent to celebrate a birthday they just need more staff to deal with the ppl but I want to applaud the staff they did what they could and where very pleasant the food does takes long but be careful its very hot excellent I thought it would come out cold since it took long but they only had one waiter that did an amazing job did get his name I would go again the girl with the red glasses wow never lost her energy and was so humble loved her

Greek Kitchen We just celebrated our company Christmas party here. Had a great time. Service was speedy and friendly. Food delicious, I had the steak with chimichurri. Appetizers were served family style and drink were bottomless for 3 hours (wine, sangria both red and white and beer). Space is ample with a great vibe. DJ was good playing EVERYTHING and taking requests. We will be back. What an awesome change from what the place used to be.
