1 /5 Christa Tolbert: For the past 30 years, I’ve enjoyed all that Stillwater has to offer. The lake, the setting, the bar, the merch… an awesome stop off the trail. This winter was the worst service I’ve had in years. The waitress was rude and barely acknowledged us. The lackluster interaction was bland at best and when we’d given up on ordering dessert after an extended wait, she rudely scoffed “I’m the only server” … which was untrue. The fries were not fully cooked and soaked in oil, perhaps Ore Ida or at best similar to school lunch. The French onion soup was not baked or flavorful, merely a raw, chewy glob of government cheese. There was a dirty dog running in and out of the kitchen and religious garb strewn about. I appreciate a family owned business and all that goes into it, but perhaps it’s time to take a more reflective look at your family business practices.
