Mr. Ds Restaurant & Lounge - Albany

Rating: 4.1 /5
Amanda I stayed at the Desmond Hotel and this restaurant was attached. I stayed for 3 nights and went there for dinner, Happy Hour & breakfast. It was phenomenal. Staff was attentive and personable. I got the chicken and it was a huge serving and the best Chicken French I’ve ever had! I even had a mocktail that was delicious! Highly recommend their Bread Pudding!!!!! It’s amazing!

Herbs & Dough - Poughkeepsie

Michelle Murray My husband and I really enjoyed everything about Herbs & Dough. I got a couple of slices of cheese pizza. They came fresh out of the oven and the portions were HUGE! A perfect thin slice of cheese pizza, exactly what I wanted! My husband got a Buffalo chicken wrap and he said it was the best he’s had in a long time. Highly recommend both! Plus the man serving us was very friendly and welcoming. All around a great experience!

Reef Al–Yemen Restaurant — مطعم ريف اليمن - Bronx

Lynnette Rivera This was such an inviting and warm experience. The space is small and simple. The people are incredibly accommodating and enthusiastic about sharing their culture and food. The meal began with a surprising and delicious complimentary lamb broth with a mixed green salad. We chose the Fahsah lamb. Oh pure goodness. Comes pretty spicy, Be sure to request your heat preference when ordering. They are more than happy to make it just right. The fahsah is served with clay bread. The flavors were insanely good. We also tried their falafel and hummus also incredible. Authentic and fresh. The meal ended with a bit of Yemen tea and a kind goodbye as if we were all dear old friends. So glad we found this sweet space in Morris Park. It is worth stepping out into the cold and. Feed your souls with some real goodness!

Dave Katz Had an excellent bibimbap. Kind of eerie experience to go inside but it not be Viva Taqueria, a ithaca staple for many years. The interior design which was the same as Viva. Anyhow the food was excellent as well as decent service. Would go back to try the fried chicken.

Gem’s - Waterloo

Donna Wylie Best. Barbecue. Ever! We got pulled pork and ribs, with some sides. The meat was PERFECT, falling off the bone ribs and tender pulled pork. The meat was all well seasoned, with generous portions. I judge a barbecue place by how well they can make cole slaw (one of my favorite sides) - these folks passed with flying colors! The owners are Sooo kind and caring, making sure everyone feels welcomed. Wish they were open every day.
