She Sings® Cafe, Restaurant and Bar - Mayville

Rating: 4.4 /5
Sheri Kamikow We made a reservation and we were able to get in at the time we asked for. Our server Alice was pretty fantastic. She cleared the table before we got there. She had to wash the table and then she seated us and had to deal with a ton of other people outside and she did it efficiently and she was super friendly. The food was good. My only complaint is it seemed like the kitchen had a hard Managing the Orders. It took over 60 minutes to get our food, but it was worth the weight. They should have three more people named Alice working in their Restaurant she was the best part of the experience!

Namaste India Poughkeepsie - Poughkeepsie

Donna Ng Namaste, Namaste! So happy to have a good eat-in Indian restaurant in the area. We enjoyed the food and service. The decor is not much changed from the previous falafel restaurant. Its very clean and comfortable if not atmospheric. We had the fried calamari appetizer, which came with butter chicken sauce. Id prefer a lighter batter but they were tasty. My husband and I loved the tandoori shrimp, a generous portion, and the dal makhani. I asked for medium spice on the lentils and would call it more on the hot side. Not too hot for my taste, but next time Id get mild. The whole adds up to more than the sum of its parts, so 5 stars, and I look forward to enjoying more meals here!

Kalash Kitchen - Cortland

Gina Knight Absolutely fantastic food and very friendly and quick service. Looks like a hole in the wall diner but falafel lamb and chicken are all incredible - ask to try the masala fries! Bookmarking for each time we pass through Cortland when traveling.

Birch Baked Gluten Free - Troy

Rating: 4.9 /5
Cody Williams Came multiple times to try the donuts and cinnamon roll, call in advance usually. Not sure if theres only certain days theyre available, but Ive only been able to try the apple fritter and Banana holes/bites and the apple cider/sugar covered. Theyre all really good just prefer glazed or boston cream. Which you can online, but has to be orders of half a dozen minimum. The apple cider was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. The texture is slightly different, pretty sure its just because theyre gluten free. Still really good. I came back on a Wednesday, from what I had seen on their Facebook, it seemed to be a common day they had fresh donuts. Unfortunately they only had them frozen, the donuts were good, but could only assume they would be better fresh.

The Wedge - Syracuse

ELIZABETH WILLIAMS Wonderful farm to table restaurant thats connected to the cheese store next door. Food is great, dont miss the cheese plate. Its amazing, as is the homemade sourdough bread with unique butter spread. The main courses vary from day to day. The night we were there entrees ranged from short ribs, to a vegetarian pasta. Its a small place so can be tough to secure a reservation. Its totally unique, nothing like Ive ever experienced in Syracuse. If you are a foody who loves cheese dont miss this place.
