5 /5 Yuki Cohen: Really great spot for creative and classic cocktails/beer/extensive whiskey list and delicious snacks!. Really cool and chic vibes. Terrific bartenders! We also ordered olives, Serrano ham and tinned mackerel toast. All fantastically delish!

4 /5 Honest Abe: I absolutely loved this place the first time I stopped in on a quiet late night when not much was happening in town. My bartender was Kat (or Cat), and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As someone newer to the Hudson area, her knowledge and warmth made the experience feel especially supportive. The other staff working that evening were kind as well. Fast forward to New Year’s Eve a much busier night. I fully understand that staff are doing their best during peak times, but I’ll admit the experience felt different. I had a bartender who wasn’t Kat, and I struggled to feel comfortable in the space due to a lack of hospitality. In hindsight, it probably would’ve been a better experience if I’d had friends with me it was a big night, and I’d just come from work hoping for a few moments of reprieve and a sense of celebration in community. All that said, it’s a solid establishment. If you’re going on a busy night, I’d recommend bringing some pals. And Kat you’re awesome. P.S. Their NA drinks are remarkable.

5 /5 Renee P: Gorgeous well appointed bar. Bartender Amanda was attentive and gave excellent local recs. I was solo and enjoyed simple snacks as my entire meal. The bread, olives, and Serrano ham were stellar. Definitely cozy and worth a visit!! Plenty of quiet space on a Tuesday night.

5 /5 Roxanne Ferber: I did not order any food during this visit so I can only share about service, atmosphere and beverages. The service was fast. The bartenders were attentive and patient with questions on a really busy night. Atmosphere was clean and inviting. The crowd was lively so conversations were loud but not overbearing. It really felt like a popular historic bar youd find in the city. There is a fantastic drink menu with very different cocktails and flavors you find everywhere else. I tried the "drink like a writer" cocktail and do not enjoy it. I wanted to try something different, but this was outside of my familiar. It was well crafted in front of me, but the Haitian rum mixed with coffee bitters did not feel smooth going down. It wasnt a bad drink, just not a combination I enjoyed. I would absolutely return to this bar, maybe when its less busy so I could explore the beverage flavors with the guidance of the mixologists. Overall, good experience.

5 /5 John Allie: Hereafter is an incredible cocktail bar right near the park — vibes on vibes. It’s not a speakeasy, but it has that classy, elevated feel. The drinks were fantastic. The Hellcat packed a serious punch (and a real kick of spice!), while the Marigold Weather was the perfect contrast — sweet, light, and super refreshing on the palate. Jeremy behind the bar is awesome — talented, personable, and makes the whole experience even better. And seriously, don’t miss the warm bread. Christ have mercy, it’s delicious — and for just $8? Absolute steal. Cannot recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!
