The Shaker & Vine - (Near Schenectady, NY)

Dakota The Evergreen is much more than just a pub. The food here is extremely elevated and one can tell how much care and thought goes into the preparation and execution of the dishes. The Evergreen has been a culinary haven in Hanover Square since moving downtown. Their Brunch has got to be one of the best in all of Downtown Syracuse. The Chorizo Sausage Gravy and the Corned Beef Hash are divine dishes packed full of contrasting flavors to start your day. Meaty, salty, spicy, and delicious. Their dinner menu is top notch as well. I have enjoyed the daily hummus plate, cracklings, the beer braised short rib grilled cheese, and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It amazes me that their tiny kitchen packs such a punch. It is extremely refreshing to find a place where the food is top notch and the atmosphere is extremely inviting. Plus their live music acts on Sunday are super talented! Thank you Evergreen!

Fairley Joseph (Home Account) Today; July 13th was Davidson Brothers Brewpub’s first Sunday brunch! This was AWESOME! Food options were great! ( note; the menu attached is actually missing their pancakes. They have them. It just did not make it into the menu.) Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy or the breakfast burrito! The staff is wonderful! And live music! This may be an every week occurrence for us. Did I mention the spectacular bottomless Bloody Mary’s???? DB’s is worth the trip from Lake George or Saratoga for sure!

Amanda Evans My boyfriend and I went to The Hollow for dinner before our concert at The Empire, which is right next door. This place is phenomenal. Very unique space and amazing staff. Check out the menu there is a lot of vegan and vegetarian options and gluten free. We both had the ribeye with melted blue cheese and also the garlic smashed potatoes with the asparagus. For an appetizer we had the maple bacon brussels. Our waiter was very very kind and attentive. I definitely would go back again.

Francis OReilly I have been a customer at Izumi for many years. The food is consistently good. I have never had to wait for a table. The drinks are excellent. I prefer the Tokyo Bay. The service is excellent. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant had closed during the pandemic but I’m glad to see that they have reopened.

Taqaneessa Desmond We came in on Christmas Eve to celebrate my brothers birthday, we were super excited that one of his favorite spots was open after we all got out of work. The food was so good and the staff was so kind, they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered us a sample of a new item! The entire restaurant was so clean and well stocked, the employees were all super professional and efficient with all of the orders, the playlist they had was super fun and had lots of familiar favorites! We can’t wait to come back again soon!
