The Skillman - (Near Sunnyside, NY)

Wendy Jordan Today was one of the hardest days for me. My mother was admitted to the hospital with cancer, so I decided to go to an Italian restaurant one block from my house. I can tell you it was a very good experience. The food was authentic Italian. I had the pizza Capricciosa, house wine, panna cotta, and dessert wine. I felt like I was in Italy—and I actually was there three weeks ago. They also had a cute band, which was nice. If you want to experience a great vibe with good food and go solo, I really recommend this place.

Racheal Bumbolo Decided to give this a try today & I’m so glad we did! Everything was delicious! They apologized for having a limited menu as they had just opened after having a water main break, it honestly was an incredible meal. We decided to go family style and enjoyed everything that was brought out in 6-course style plate after plate. The roasted shishitos with pork belly dust was an amazing start. The stuffed poblano with pulled pork jalapeño cream cheese (I think) wrapped in bacon and UC beer cheese, excellent!! We also had the street corn, Korean bbq ribs, pulled pork mac and cheese, and ended with churros. Each dish was a creative take on traditional bbq! I would definitely recommend checking it out. Thank you Utica BBQ for a wonderful meal :)

Michael Theriault At Kings Wok I had a meal so fine, The buffet spread was truly divine! The only place in town with all-you-can-eat, Where flavors and value perfectly meet. The stir-fry sizzled, the dumplings were hot, Sweet and sour chicken hit just the right spot. From noodles to rice, each dish was a treat, Making my dining experience complete. The hot and sour soup was rich and so warming, The spring rolls were crispy - truly charming! Fresh food kept coming throughout my stay, What more could a hungry diner say? The staff was so friendly, the service was great, Clean tables and floors - no reason to wait. For families and friends, its the perfect place, With smiles all around and food served with grace. The values unbeatable, the portions are vast, Quality and freshness from first bite to last. Kings Wok has won me over, its true, Ill be back again soon - maybe with you! If Chinese cuisine is what you seek, This buffet gem is the place - unique!

nate b Wow! Very impressed, food was cooked excellent, service was quick and friendly. Seating area was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean. Both fountain and bottle drinks available. The price was right absolutely. Would recommend this for sure!

Kristin Butler My boyfriend ordered the shaved steak sandwich and it was delicious. I got the baked mac and cheese with pulled pork and it was definitely lacking in cheesiness and a different pasta type (orecchiette listed on menu but got regular elbows), but still very good. The soft pretzels appetizer was delicious, particularly the mustard beer cheese dippping sauce. The main complaint is just that the current menu was not listed online which would have been helpful to check out beforehand. Would definitely come again.

Mark Clark Great food, fun & friendly service! The ambiance was fine - either in the comfortable downstairs dining room & bar, or out in the open air on the sidewalk. Amazing take on ceviche and so nice to have tasting flights of very smooth tequila! My wife tried the eggplant smothered in avocados; I had a hearty steak salad. Lots of fun hot sauces and pickled veggies as a condiment bar. Enthusiastic young waiter - wish we could recall his name; he was a real asset to the restaurant.
