The Irish American - Mahopac

Rating: 4.8 /5
Timothy H Thrilled to say this was wonderful! All authentic Irish food that was also delicious. Beautifully decorated and spotless. Attentive service as well. We enjoyed a lunch with fish and chips and a full Irish breakfast. Fish was very fresh and a large serving. Homemade chips can’t be beat. Can’t wait to return for the Sunday dinners. Don’t forget to do some shopping in the cottage for some delicious take home treats!

Karoon Walljee This experience was awesome! I took my girlfriend there for her 40th birthday. We went with the prefix menu, and the food was incredible – the drinks were made perfectly too. Our waitress, I cant remember her name unfortunately, was super warm and welcoming. She made sure all our needs were taken care of. And the atmosphere? This place is SO nice! With all the beautiful flower decorations, its like being in a garden up in the sky. We even got to watch a belly dancer, which was the icing on the cake. Well definitely be back!

Pastavino - Staten Island

Rating: 4.6 /5
A. Flores 5 stars for customer service, atmosphere and gluten free pasta quality! This is my third time visiting Pastavino and it never fails to impress. The GF pasta is house made and they only charge $2 extra for it, which is extremely reasonable considering other local restaurants charge a lot more than that for premade GF pasta. The GF pasta is just the right texture, density and flavor. The restaurant itself is beautiful and unique to the cookie cutter Italian decor you see around Staten Island. It is also adjacent to the water so has great views. The employees were extremely attentive and hospitable and although it looks and feels like an upscale restaurant, the service made you feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease. Eg. I did not finish my salad and a manager immediately came over and asked what was wrong with it (nothing was, it was just a little lemony for my preference). I guarantee if I had any complaints they would have fixed it immediately. Highly recommend I definitely plan on returning.

Hubies - Middleburgh

Rating: 4.6 /5
Prof. John We used to live in Schoharie county. My wife always liked the conglomerate. Occasionally I would go with her and get a slice of pizza while she shopped. We did a sit down dinner in the restaurant a couple times. It was the regular italian fare and was good. We have moved away but still come out now and then. However, the conglomerate has now closed. We will still come out to visit the Carrot Barn and the brewery in Schoharie, the Wayward Lane. I will have to get out to Middleburgh to get a slice of Hubies pizza. It is great out of the oven. It is a thin crust New York style. Great tasting crust, sauce and cheese. It is the second best pizza I have ever had, and I love pizza. It is worth the trip and it is what gets my 5 stars. The staff is also very friendly .
