Uncle Jons Place - (Near Batavia, NY)

5 /5 ALL MINE: We have been to Uncle Jonhs a good handful of times and every time it has been excellent! He gives huge portions of food and has a secret ingredient in his pancakes that makes them superb!

1 /5 Timothy Truty: Myself and my companion went here this pass Saturday and this was probably our worst dining experience we have ever had..I ordered a pizza burger and she ordered a grilled chicken sandwich when the food was served her chicken was not cooked properly so we told our server who abruptly grabbed the plate while rolling her eyes in the process..now she brings out the replacement chicken that was noticeably over cooked..I tagged the owner/cook and we explained our frustration.Instead of doing the right thing of apologizing or offering a substitute or even not charging us he became argumentative /yelling at us that the food was cooked correctly and said that we still had too pay for it..I ask you all is it right too charge a customer for substandard food or for goods not recieved? I paid the bill but feeling he stole from us...Please do yourself and family a favor..AVOID this place like the plague ..The owner and server are rude the food is overpriced and nasty..Stay away!!! If that wasnt bad enough when our rude server gave us the check she threw it at us and when I paid she said thank you and have a nice day. REALLY. YOU TOO.

5 /5 April W: Went this morning with friends. The food was delicious. We had pancakes french toast eggs omelets bacon & toast which everyone enjoyed. Cant beat a home cooked meal!

5 /5 Mike p: We arrived about 115pm and didn’t realize that the restaurant closed at 2pm. The staff said that wouldn’t be a problem at all. They were friendly and the food was great. Than you again. I would highly recommend uncle Jon’s for a good meal.

The staff knows everyone by name (and you may too by the end of your meal), the food is priced very affordably and is full of home cooked comfort. It is warm and welcoming. Do not come here looking for fine dining, but if you’re in the market for a good cup of coffee and hearty meal, this place is where it’s at.
