3 /5 Amanda Kochirka: Ill start with the high point of our experience - the view from the dining room was spectacular! Our server was very friendly, but considering we were the only table in the restaurant for at least the first 30 minutes of our time there, the service was slow. I ordered a side garden salad with blue cheese dressing to start and my husband ordered a side Caesar salad to start. The salads were good, but the dressing with my salad turned out to be Caesar and Id already put it all over my salad before I realized the mix up. It wasnt a huge deal, but it wasnt what I ordered. For my main, I had the short rib pasta and my husband had the tomahawk pork chop. My pasta was overcooked and it seemed like the plate had been sitting waiting for pickup for a while because the top layer of the entire dish was room temperature. The flavor of the sauce was decent. My husband ordered his pork chop medium but it was more well done when it arrived. The asparagus was so overcooked and mushy it was tough to stomach. The mashed potatoes were fine. Overall I cant say wed be back.

3 /5 Susan Sernak-Martinelli: Food was not as expected for the price. Chicken Marsala was served more as chicken gravy, very thick and no Marsala flavor. Chicken was not filleted and pounded. Steak was tough. Autumn soup had no flavor. Desserts were amazing as was the service! And of course the atmosphere.

5 /5 E Smith: Stopped in for a quick lunch. Food was awesome and our waiter was a gentleman. The seafood chowder hit the spot and the crab rangoons (not pictured) were also delicious.

1 /5 Jessica Howe: I ordered salmon and rice and found hair in it. It was our 6th wedding anniversary and we were really looking forward to some great tasting food but was very disappointed with food and service. The waitress even offered a free anniversary dessert but instead of getting peach cobbler as it was one of the choices, we were given old cheese cake with cold peach cobbler topping on it. She insisted that it was peach cobbler and that it was one of the chefs specials. I dont think they have chefs. One of the worst experiences at a restaurant! Would never recommend it! Would never go back!

1 /5 CJ P: My wife and i had previously been here 5 years to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We were once again in the area for another wedding and it was over our anniversary weekend, also close to my parents who would be along with us. We called and made reservations weeks in advance. We arrived right at 1858 and were seated. We then sat there at our for another 13 minutes before the hostess came over to inform us they were short staffed tonight. We put it our drink orders and requested some water. The drinks and water came about 17 minutes later, we were over 30 mins into our reservation without even getting to put in appetizers. The most shocking thing was there was a blonde server, she spent at least 15 minutes staring at the POS system like she was study for a final exam. When she did move into the dining room she refused to look at any other table other than her own 15 top in the corner. No one else existed in this dining room, where there were a mere 5 tables all smaller than 4 tops. The wine was delivered incorrectly, they forgot a bottle and our ordering was painful. We needed water several times, i think our record was 5 requests before we got it. This u is very far from cheap, and yet not a single effort was made to compensate for the fact that we would be paying premium price for nonexistent service. The chef was running around the most, which was the only employee to show any semblence of hustle. Im not saying everyone had to be running around but to in general move as if they had a sense of purpose on this earth. The only actual server was a complete embarassment, I mastered the art of serving at 14 years old as a high school freshman, my wife was a junior. It is not difficult and requires very little training or education. The effort to multi-task was non-existent. Our meal concluded, the food was ok and they messed up our bill several times. Dessert was not offered, because we already passed their closing time because dinner took so long. My wife and I would have rather they called us and cancelled our reservation rather than drive 30 mins down the lake to have the worst dinner on record.
