1.The Burning Buffalo Bar & Grill

Anthony Trusello Every other Friday, myself and my two daughters eat here. The entire bar and restaurant knows us and greets my daughters (they are 2 & 4) we sit at the exact same table and we order the same thing everytime. Well, actually we dont even order anymore, we just arrive and they put the order in and get our same drinks. The food is bar food with a big upgrade, everything is delicious and cooked well. I get the steak frites rare (because Im not a psycho) and it is a 14oz PRIME grade strip. Cooked perfect everytime, not one deviation. Sliced with steak sauce and hand cut fresh garlic parm fries. The kids get mac & cheese and chicken fingers and fries from the kids menu that is on the coloring sheet. They also give crayons and kids sippy cups. The wait staff (we usually have Andrea), the bartender, the owner Nick and of course, the kitchen staff who even knows us by our order are incredible with my girls. Honestly, as I watch over what I have declared my own restaurant at the other visitors - they are treated just as kind and attended to and their children included and acknowledged. Its a gem. My girls and I will be there every other Friday per usual. I pick them up from school and they immediately say, "were going to our favorite restaurant" and sometimes I drag my friends and girlfriend in-between daddy-daughter dates. Thank you Burning Buff staff and

Someone recommended this place and I was not disappointed! The coconut shrimp, wings, Mac and cheese and the fried lobster were amazing. Plus the drinks were great too!

Lee1977 Seneca We were looking for a place that served fish fries other than Sunday and I had eaten at Colter Bay back in the 1980s so I knew they had good food. We moved to Tennessee 4 years ago and missed the local food here in WNY and we werent disappointed. We enjoyed the fish fry and the beef on Weck.

Food was tasty, hot, and well seasoned. Service was great. Reservations were easy to make. The restaurant is accessible with limited ADA parking spots on the side of the bldg. The restaurant has a ramp at its entrance.

Jeff Edmondson We happened to find The Dapper Goose on Resy while visiting Buffalo and were very much impressed. The food was excellent with the ricotta toast, delicata squash, and bread pudding as particular stand outs. Rounding out our dining experience was absolutely stellar service from the front-of-house staff. Little touches like fresh silverware and plates between courses, attentive beverage service, and simple syrup served with after-dinner coffee really impressed us. The Dapper Goose will definitely be on our return list next time we’re in Buffalo!

12.Olivers Restaurant

Address: 2095 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14216

(485) user ratings total:

Jillian Straw Having moved here recently from NYC where I spent considerable time working in varying levels of hospitality from fine dining to bagel shops, Olivers sticks out to me as a quintessential star in the Buffalo food scene. On a ten grade scale I would give the food a 9/10 and the service a 13. Kim (and Charlie) specifically made my experience wonderful. After oysters, the steak tartare, scallops, and lemon cheesecake I was besotted, in a good way. The true foodie passion shown in each dish, the ease and comfort in each conversation, and the level of care taken down to the detail (including specifically packaging my left over dishes based on small portions of our side conversation) all equates to a definite Must Go. Apologies my pictures are vaguely lacking, half of them I couldnt stop myself from immediately tucking in, and the other half were taken in haste so that I could get right to them asap.

The food was outstanding, and the pilot grigio was one of the best Ive had. We will definitely be back to try the baklava!
