Michael Karriker The wife and I stopped in for some cold drinks at the Ironworks, and decided to get some food as well from The Magic Bus Kitchen. I ordered the Cowboy Burger, and the Mrs. ordered some hot wings. The wings were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was great. Some places like their buffalo sauce a little heavier on the vinegar, this one wasnt. It was a great blend of vinegar, butter and garlic. My burger was fantastic. The meat patty was well seasoned, and was larger than the bun (which I appreciated). The onion rings were prepared fresh, and really made a big difference in the overall texture of the burger. The sauce was good, and had the right ratio of sauce to burger, so it wasnt just all over the place, and overpowering the rest of the flavors. I would 100% order this again any time the kitchen is open. Also, the staff was friendly, and the food was out in a reasonable time frame. I highly recommend giving The Magic Bus Kitchen a chance the next time you are feeling like going out. Also, with it being inside of the Ironworks, you have plenty of great drink options, as well as the best atmosphere around. They are the perfect combo!

Hope Dean Elwood offers comforting and authentic meals. Each dish tells a story, showcasing native ingredients that define Pennsylvania. The flavors are honest and soulful—rich without excess, simple yet satisfying. From slow-cooked meats and handmade breads to seasonal vegetables and preserved specialties, the food reflects a strong connection to the land and its history. Family style dishes are at the heart of every meal. I will definitely return and bring friends and family, so they can experience the joy of what family meals should be all about…love.

Frank Polloni I honestly had a wonderful trip out at the Grand Altoona hotel, I originally selected it due to its reasonable cost but fell in love with its charms. Like Ill be the first to admit it shows its age a bit, but all the staff was friendly, the on site restaurant was good and the pool was large. I will definitely be going again. Frank

Abigail Zhou I went there for their happy hour on Monday. The oyster costs $1 each. I think it’s worth the price and it tastes super fresh!

Zach sierocki Exceptional dishes that you wont find in most restaurants with a date night feel style of dining. A few things that I loved about this place, the glass tables with barrels attached to the wall. Bartender was able to handle my out of the ordinary request. The huge wall of barrels add a nice aesthetically pleasing. We had the calamari and beef tartare to start. Both great, and the portion of calamari was excellent. Our server Ashley was very kind and welcoming. Main course consisted of Bison Steak 10/10 which was massive. Then the Duck LOrange that had such lovely flavor. Highly recommend this spot if youre out for celebration, or want a fancy dating spot. Everything was great. Hope to be back soon!

Gino N Food is delicious, but pricey. $18 for 2 tacos. The bottle of wine I bought had a 650% mark up. To be clear, the bottle of wine was $8 at a local state store. At Suba, it was $60. 650% of 8 is actually less than $60 ($52), so I was a bit generous to the owners in my original post. It was actually more than a 650% markup they asked for.
