Cheddars Scratch Kitchen - (Near Erie, PA)

4 /5 Chloe W: First time visit was great. Our server Lydia was great. She recommended the Bourbon shrimp and salmon which was amazing. We also really enjoyed the onion rings, chicken tenders, and croissants! However the fries and “seasoned” rice were pretty bland. We’ll be back but change our side orders to something else.

5 /5 CHV: Had gotten a free chips and queso’s offer after signing up with Darden Restaurants Group but had never heard of this restaurant before. When we passed it during a recent visit to Erie, decided to try it. Did all the great reviews really “scratch” the surface of just how good this place was? Well… it definitely deserved the great ratings! As soon as we sat down, warm, buttery croissants appeared before us. Enjoyed awesome, attentive service from wonderful Chloe, who made some great suggestions. We added hamburger meat to the queso sauce- no additional upcharge, and the sauce was SO delicious. Companion thoroughly enjoyed their lunch deal of fried chicken sandwich, upgraded the standard side of fries to house salad w/honey mustard dressing- yum. I had the chicken tenders platter that offers 2 sides. The broccoli rice casserole was okay, but the tender, crispy coated tenders were up there with the best I’ve had! Rather than having the chicken tossed, I had the hot honey sauce on the side. They provided a generous amount of this sauce; it packed some heat and was so tasty. I was also impressed by how clean the public restroom was, considering a bus load of tourists had just left. Not trying to be cheesy here, but Cheddars is the place to go for excellent, made from scratch, hearty, reasonably priced food!

5 /5 Saling Mark: Cheddars Scratch Kitchen is a national treasure. The delicious honey covered croissants are complimentary but if you want more and you will, theyre only $1.99. The southern fried chicken is smothered in gravy and my go to for the affordable double breast that is so good warmed up its like dinner and lunch you actually look forward to the next day. The chocolate cake sundae was so decadent it made me sneeze. The service was incredible especially in an absolute blizzard. I highly recommend this establishment

5 /5 Laura Mae Walls: I cant believe Ive never been to a Cheddars before! Its like sitting at Grandmas table , but you dont have to clear the table or do dishes after! The decor here is very inviting. The plants and semi private booths make this a very comfortable place to eat. Our server was so good. She made recommendations that were spot on. We did not know that each meal starts with honey croissants. Where have these been all my life? The portions are ample, the flavor profiles outstanding. The onion rings and chicken tenders are some of the best Ive ever had! The bourbon salmon was so tender and flaky, and the rice underneath caught all the flavors. Chicken tenders I hope you get to eat here soon. And now that weve been here, maybe well see you.

5 /5 Evan Lau: No words. This franchise makes the best American food. Prices are great and environmentally quiet. Still underrated. Steak tips, pork chops, spasagna, and grilled salmon were amazing as usual. And of course, their signature croissants. Can’t forget about those. Even though this place is two hours where I’m from, definitely worth the drive to Erie for Cheddar’s. Also, it’s my first time going to a Cheddar’s outside of Florida.
