Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - (Near Meadville, PA)

5 /5 David Evrard: First time at this Cracker Barrel. Service was very fast and pleasant. Was surprised and happy to see we could get mimosas with our breakfast. (Get the pitcher for two). We enjoyed eggs, French toast, grits, sausage patties and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and very delicious. The sausage patties were the best Ive ever had. I also appreciated the ability to pay using my phone which avoided the checkout line at the counter.

3 /5 Judith: I got country fried steak and asked if I could have a baked potato and cole slaw. Then I was informed that it was a $2.50 uncharge for the plain baked potato? What the heck? Went with hash brown casserole and it was tasteless. Husband ordered hamburger and fries. Only got 9 fries for a $12 burger. And the bottom bun was so soggy he had to eat his hamburger with a fork and knife. Very disappointed.

5 /5 Christin Smith: More affordable than fast food, and enough to take home for lunch the next day! This is a great place for comfort food, the chicken and dumplings and hashbrown casserole are personal favorites. They have honey or preserves available for biscuits and cornbread if you ask your server. Soup and salad lunch specials. The gift shop is always fun to take a look at and there are multiple seasons on display. You’re sure to find something that you didn’t know you needed and could likely live without. Many nostalgic candy bars and food items as well.

2 /5 Bruce Ferguson: We hate the menu changes the new pot roast dinner was horrible. Dont like the new coated steak fries either. The quality just isnt what it was. The pot roast was covered in gravy but the meat was still dried out like chewing on jerky chunks. The fried shrimp was not great either. Our waitress never brought the apple butter we asked for and never offered any cornbread biscuits. We used to love this place but for now will not be going back. Its a shame because before all the changes we would stop almost every time it was one of our favorites. Please turn back the clock pre covid .

5 /5 Tim Eckhardt: Drove to Meadville a 25 mile trip just to eat there. It was nasty snowing and wind a blowing. Food was great had the grilled trout. My all time favorite there. Wish I had a great memory for names but not me. Waitress was out standing she was so anticipating and quick. Love Cracker Barrel.
