Annie Leitzinger We came in for lunch and were blown away by how delicious the food was. I got hot honey tendies with sweet potatoes, and my boyfriend got the soul bowl, except he subbed bacon for the greens. (This was an option offered to us, which was very generous and kind!) We both agreed the chicken tenders were so juicy and crispy at the same time, the hot honey sauce was thick, spicy, and super flavorful. The mac and cheese was the best weve ever had; creamy, cheesy, and rich. Often times I find that mac and cheese is either creamy and bland or concealed and cheesy. This was perfect on both flavor and texture! The flavors of the soul bowl all together were fantastic (I had a few bites myself). The bacon that was added was cooked perfectly crisp and it was such a nice touch, thanks again for offering to add something in lieu of the greens! The sweet potatoes were sweet and well spiced, but not TOO sweet. We both had cornbread which was tender and buttery. Overall this was an incredible lunch! The only thing we missed was banana pudding, but it makes sense that theyd be out. We came in for lunch after they were closed for 2 days after all. Well be back again!

Annabelle Stroud When we went there were not many people, our waiter was really nice, the food was good for the price and the quantity was huge for the cowboy burger. Very yummy, their homemade chips were SO good and especially the beer cheese sauce. The somoa cheesecake was also really good..10/10 would come again!

Brittany Braun Bar Avalon always delivers! The food, service, and ambiance are consistently amazing. We tried the wine and dinner pairing for the first time last night and were blown away—perfectly matched courses and a knowledgeable waitress made it a standout experience. A perfect date night. We’ll definitely be doing it again!

Jason Braman Just stopped and had the Surf and Turf. Steak was cooked perfectly as medium rare and the lobster tail was excellent. We also tried the smoked trout as an appetizer and it was amazing!!! Service was excellent our waitress kept on top of things and made several great suggestions as we were deciding our meals. Atmosphere: I love the look of this place. It has been around since the 40s and has kept so much of the history and charm of that era. Totally recommend the Blu Tavern! I cannot wait to come back this way and try some more dishes, hopefully I leave room for dessert when I do!

Edilberto Tirado I love Mexican food, but awesome overall experience at this restaurant is the best. Their presentation, taste of the food is off the charts. The restaurant itself is so clean. I highly recommend for anyone to try it. The food tasted so fresh. 5 stars

Gil Diaz First time at this location. We started with coffee and a Pepsi. The coffee was terrible. Even after 4 sugar packets it was still sour and bitter. Reminded me of bad Army coffee. I believe this is the first time I ever reported bad coffee in). The manager refunded the coffee. We also ordered the classic bacon cheese burger with fries which was excellent. Plus we ordered the chicken won ton tacos and the boneless wings extra hot buffalo. The tacos were excellent with juicy chicken and a light Asian flavor. The boneless wings were dry and not spicy or extra hot. In the end it was an ok meal. Since the prices were reasonable, we may try again in the future
